The neighborhood is a little questionable, but I'm not from the area. They do have a secured parking lot though. I believe they have a website at http://www.zipperssocialclub.com

I just got back from South Fla., and I stopped into Zippers one night. They were featuring porn star Kevin Kramer, and the less said about him, the better (ALL of the regular dancers were more attractive than he was.)

 

The pluses: They get totally naked. They have alcohol. They have a free parking lot in the back. It's pretty easy to find (even for someone from the left coast like me.) It's pretty clean and comfortable (decent chairs, etc.) They have a large number of performers, and most of the time there are two at once (on two different stages.) They have a "shower show". It's open until 5:00 A.M. There's a big variety of types of performers (ethnicity, size, age, etc.)

 

The minuses: They have you initial and sign three pages of small print to get in. It costs $20 (cover charge/"membership") to get in. The dancers constantly pressure you to buy lap dances (@$20/song) or to go to the "VIP Room" (@$150 + $30 for "the house.") It's very loud.

...and during my "lap dance" the dancer constantly pressured me to go to the VIP room.

Plus, they advertised that they have a free shuttle to and fro SOBE when they didn't!

The simple answer is no. I went tonight, and they were taking drivers license, swiping into computer and recording other info from the license. In this day of identity theft I do not feel comfortable giving my name address and ss number to unknown persons in a gay nude strip club/bar. I guess I must be paranoid.

Not at all. Identity Theft is the fastest growing crime in America. Whatever possible, insist on a "sort number." Only your employer, a bank or an irs official can demand you ss#. RESIST!!
