I'm ready for my close-up...

 

New York City has hundreds of fabulous photographers. You NEVER need to travel for great photos. Many of the professionals are gay and love shooting nudes on the side. If they work in advertising, you probably won't see an online portfolio. Professional photographers who shoot nudes tend to keep that work private, or they use another name for x-rated work.

 

I would post an ad on Craigslist.

 

If an escort is going to employ a professional, be sure to be upfront about the legal stuff. Any image uploaded to Rentboy becomes a Rentboy "owned" image by contract. If you don't have written permission from your photographer, you are legally responsible for uploading an image not owned by you. If a lawsuit is filed, you will assume all responsibility.

 

As for payment: If you're lucky enough to negotiate sex for photos and photo ownership, I would strongly consider this barter arrangement. Any barter deal will almost always benefit the escort. Next to private medicine, there are very few professions that cost as much as the photography business, and many talented professionals are struggling to keep their businesses alive. The average photo for an average ad campaign will cost around $10,000. Most escorts (and most people) have no idea what it costs to produce a good photo, one that attracts business. If you happen to be in the hands of an expert retoucher, the cost doubles. If there is any chance you can negotiate a fuck or two for a shoot, I say do it. You'll save a fortune, and hopefully make a fortune with new, great pictures.

Berlin and/or Barcelona over the next year or 2 ?

However, that $10K number really is the domain of an exceptional client / and a day in the studio with a full team including hair/make up - a stylist - the whole nine yards.

In both sets of portfolios I have linked - all were shot without the aid of a team of professionals / many were quick 'down n dirty' test shots / often the entire shoot lasted no more than 60- 90 minutes - digital changed everything - not like shooting in the old days a decade ago - where I might have gone through 20 rolls of film / contact sheets (that could be $1,200 -

$ 1,500. just in hard costs) just to capture and ultimately deliver half a dozen great shots.

Mick NY the one thing that, almost immediately, becomes evident in this thread is that virtually all of us have different ideas regarding what is and what is not good photography. Ultimately it is a decision based on personal esthetics. After looking at all the photographers and studios recommended here “I” have concluded that “I” personally prefer the work of S. Eden Vaschon at http://www.studbankimages.com. I find his images not only highly erotic but highly artistic. The key word here is “I”. There will likely be other posters here who dislike his work and prefer that of another. With the recommendations you have thus far received you now need to decide which photographer is most likely to present you in the manner you wish. Good luck and I look forward to seeing the images of the photographer you select.

Mick... I tend to agree with Epigonos... not that the other photographers' work is deficient in any way... on the contrary. However, the Studbank images seem more appropriate not only for escorting in general and but also from what I know of your style in particular. As is implied they are be a nice blend of the artistic, the erotic, and I might add the naughty as well... and since that seems to define you... that's the route I would personally suggest no matter which photographer you choose. Still, whatever you decide (and that might indeed ultimately be another photographer not referenced here) I and quite a quite a few others are indeed looking forward to seeing the final results!
