Lucky, I've mentioned my gender in several posts, including my first one. I don't hire, but I originally came here by way of a search for reviews of therapeutic masseurs, and my first thread was about this topic. I stayed because I'm interested in how the escort market works. I've been to female escort board also, but I found the way the providers are discussed there derisive. The interaction? It's pretty similar to that of most other forums I've read, regardless of their subject. You've got your recurring debates (here: What's a fair price? For better or for worse, the flow of new posters is smaller than I would have expected. If the mods want to change that, an introductions thread/forum might make them more comfortable.

I thought about starting a new thread for this but then thought better of it.

 

Like many straight women, I'm somewhat jealous of gay men. You, like straight men, can enjoy sex--period. There's no angst, no wondering whether you might get too attached if you sleep with someone. Except that for you, there isn't that speed bump there in the form of a woman wanting commitment, a ring, and so on. There are just other men who want the same thing. (I don't mean to stereotype: Some gay men do want a life partner. Still, they don' t have to worry about those large levels of oxytocin that make them attached tothe other person.)

 

Obviously, there are issues, including discrimination. But for those of you lucky enough to be a gay man, I hope you enjoy it.

I see it in same-age guys usually in the 30-40 age range. They've done the bar scene, one night hook-ups and are looking for a little stability in their life. Especially concerned about financial stability as 2 people can usually live much better than one on their own. They also go into the relationship knowing they can still screw around on the side if so desired. They'll have the best of both worlds.
