I recently asked the forum about arranging for an escort who is 2 hours by car away from me. One of the suggestions I received was to offer the escort the use of the hotel room for the entire night--perhaps for other clients. That's a great (incentive) idea. But I can't figure out how to do it without leaving my required credit card open for any extra charges that he might choose to add after I leave. Even if I check out, they'll still apply any charges that occur after I leave to the card on file. Any ideas?

I think you can book the room in his name and just ask that room and tax be billed to your credit card. When your escort checks in, they can ask him for his credit card for incidental (minibar, room service) expenses.

Better yet, you should spend the night with him and check out together.

Some hotels will let you 'close the bill' with the room charge if the other occupant will offer his card for incidentals. It's something you'd need to discuss with the escort.

First, ISC -- love the signature. My thoughts exactly.

I've actually done this once or twice for guys, but they have been guys I know and trust. I've never had any problem with unexpected charges showing up. However, if the room is in your name but your escort will be staying after you leave and is working there, you need to make sure that his name is on the room too. Just in case the room key gets de-magnetized and he needs to get a new key. Many hotels ask for name and/or ID to get a new room key.

Asking him to put the room on his card may work, but if he hasn't met you before or doesn't "trust you" (not saying he shouldn't) but some guys may not be willing to do that. They'd be concerned of being out the funds if you don't show, show and only pay for the time, etc. But if he is willing to do it, then great!!!! Good luck in getting this arranged.

Are you nuts?

You also better figure out how to legally protect yourself if something goes terribly wrong in that room when you're not there.

Frankly, I think the suggestion to leave your room to some escort after you leave is a really dumb idea. Leaving it so he can "work" with other strangers, while your credit card is still paying for the room is simply insane. How on earth do you handle all the liability issues without informing the hotel and questioning the bank that owns your credit card?

Even better. Could I ask the escort to reserve the room and use his credit card and then just pay him in cash for the room (as well as for the rest) before I leave??

unsub, I used that exact scenario once and it worked well. The working guy realized that discretion was impotant to me (no incriminating credit card charges) and came up with the idea. I paid him when we met at the room and things went smooth as glass. Best of luck!

I'm kinda here with Rock, covered in blood and wondering what to do next—now that I've accidentally murdered my client. I know, I'll pin it on you, since the room was in your name and on your card. I just showed up and left when I was done.

Yes! This is precisely what I have done before on several successful occasions. That way there is no trace of your card. The challenge is that the escort has to trust you enough to be willing to secure the room with his charge card and be assured that you will not stand him up and that you will in fact pay him. I've found that guys are more willing to do this when they have already met me and know my word is good.

Unfortunately, there are a number of threads about prior trustworthy clients who turned bad. Your "word" gets an official gold stamp as "good," when you've paid me what you owe me and I'm walking out the door, and not before. Call me cynical, but I've gotten burned by several clients who copied and pasted that exact phrase before screwing me.

Ain't renting a room for you unless you PayPal me the money first. Then I'll be happy to charge it.

Sorta goes along the idea of You reserve the room with a guaranteed late arrival and email me, the client the confirmation. I paypal you the money for the room just after 6 PM so you're already on the hook to pay for the room. Then we have our date and I drop the balance on you. If you don't show, the hotel makes the money, not you. But, oh, wait, if I don't paypal you the money, you're out. Somewhere, somehow, some way, I've gotta trust the guy I'm planning to get naked with. Oh and he has to trust me, too!

Unsub, I've been in a similar situation when I'm flown to a destination to see a client and we don't spend the night in the same room.

The room is booked on my name; the travel agent/client prepays the accommodation and upon checking in I present to the hotel my credit card for incidentals.

No need to reinvent the wheel as hotels do that all the time.

Well, as you all can see, this is not an easy issue. I brought it up as a way to further induce the escort of my choice to travel to me. So now I'm thinking that there may be a middle ground here. I could leave it up to the escort. If he wants to use the room after I leave, he puts it on his card, and I'll pay him for the room in cash before we even start. And, yes, trust is involved here. If he doesn't want the room, I'll put it on my card, but pay most of the bill in cash, thus leaving only a small amount to show up on my card. How's that?

Does privacy matter?

this is not an easy issue

It's especially difficult if the client and the escort wish to use aliases throughout the encounter.

Steven Draker is correct. Corporations commonly reserve and pay for my room, and all I have to supply is a credit card for incidentals. But these days, I'm often asked to show an I.D. with the credit card, a requirement of the credit card bank.

Also, prepaid rooms are usually handled through a connection. The hotel management typically knows or has a working relationship with the company or representative who will be paying the bill. I'm sure individuals can arrange for a prepay, but I don't know how one can create a successful transaction and keep private exposure to a minimum.

Hotels also have much more camera surveillance these days. You simply don't know when and where your on-site activity will appear on someone's monitor.

Hosting escorts in hotels requires a lot more planning and thinking, especially if you want to stay in finer hotels and protect your privacy. The thought of giving my hotel room to an escort so he can continue his "work" after I leave, is a thought that would never enter my brain.

Europe is even more difficult because hotels require a passport. Thank goodness for apartment rentals.

With two exceptions, I always provided, at my expense, a separate accomodation for the rentboy if, in consideration of time, the "hire" ran beyond an afternoon tryst betweenst the sheets. At the same Jaime came to me, the hire was for a weekend, Friday until Monday, and, providing him with his own room afforded us "space" for ourselves, on an individual basis, in the course of the hire.
