For just offering over social media?? Unlikely, unless it was a minor or someone posing as a minor. A bigger potential would exist for being kicked off the social media site if you violated the TOS.

If you offered money for sex, it is a violation of law. It is unlikely that there would be a prosecution without a follow up, as when you show up at the door.

Offers to pay for sex occur a multitude of times per day. The authorities are not watching Adam 4 Adam or other websites as it would be a huge waste of money and resources. I wouldn't worry about this.
