Sorry to hear of your bad experience. We have all had our share so don't get down on yourself for it.

 

As to the boards advice on getting right back on the wagon-- I would recommend taking a different approach. Don't hire right away. It seems like you have no had a good experience hiring yet. Continue working with your therapist and trying to build a positive self-image. You really have to be able to have a good time with yourself, before you will be able to have a good time with an escort. Try, if you can, to meet people outside of the escort scene-- even if it is only to make a new friend or go out on a date.

 

Also, while hiring off of the reviewed escorts here can help with a good hiring experience, my success rate from hiring off of here has been mixed. One of the worst escorts experiences of my life came from a highly reviewed escort on this website. So unfortunately, it won't guarantee a successful encounter. It should help, however, in preventing the violent experience you encountered at least. If you are going to hire off of here, try some of the superstars like David-sf, A.J.Irons, Peter Hung, Tyger, Dave-dc (and others) that will go above and beyond to try and make you comfortable and have a good time. Admit to them upfront that you are new to this and that are nervous and have not been able to have a good time doing this yet.

 

I personally think the best way to use this website and message board in finding someone who is right for you is to find some posters/reviewers who have similar tastes and a similar physical description(as you) and see what they say about a given escort. Even better if an escort has multiple reviews and positive comments from two people you consider to be relevant reviewers.

MS I have never actually touched a gun. I was trying for some tongue in cheek statement but in reading it again now rather than at 5AM when I wrote it, it is clear that there really is nothing humerous in the way it was written. Thanks all. I will do a review. Probably in a few days. My trip to LA was extremely tough, both physically and emotionally. It gave me a LOT to talk about with my shrink. I was at a resort where I was working on losing weight. Our days started at 6 a.m. and finished after 7:30 p.m. most days. It included lectures, cooking demo's and 8 hours of working out every day. I hit a lot of emotional shit while I was there. I was hoping to be able to relax and get laid before I came home to my small-town. But obviously it didn't work out real well.

 

I'm considering going to DC for a trip in March. If I do, I'd definitely like to hire Dave. That might be just what the doctor ordered.
