Friday the 13th Newest Reviews

HooBoy, I too sympathize with your recent computer and other problems, and I hope that you are getting things back under control.

 

This is not in the nature of a criticism or flame - just information. I'm surprised that nobody has yet said anything about it, so I will. Sometime last night or this morning the Newest Reviews for Friday Dec. 13 got added. The list is there in the index, but the new reviews are not in the escort's file. The link brings up the escort with all his previous reviews, but not with a new review for 12/13. The only exception is John of London, who is a completely new listing and has just the 1 review from 12/13. Otherwise only the older reviews.

 

I don't know if it's a hardware problem or a software problem or a linking problem, or if it's just Friday the 13th playing tricks on you, but I thought you should know.

After the upload I checked each one to make sure they all went up, but I checked the names, figuring the reviews would be there. Sure enough, after reading your post, I looked and the new reviews were on my C: drive. Somehow they did not get to the server.

 

I'm not a techie, but I am guessing it is because I am on a new computer and the software is an upgrade of what I have been using.

 

Typically the software compares what is on my C: drive against what is on the server and only uploads the changes. For some reason, it was confused.

 

I am trying to upload not only Friday's but Saturday's as well right now but am overwriting everything on the server, so the whole thing may get screwed up.

 

Cross your fingers. I'll figure it out before Christmas.

What is wrong with the link to the message center? It links to someone's My Documents file. What's up with that?

BON, I saw this too and I believe it happened while HooBoy was uploading reviews from Hong Kong.

 

I'm not sure HooBoy or Daddy were aware that the path to his hard drive was being displayed during the upload.

Please stand-by, we're having technical difficulties.

 

Hoo's at the end of a long string and has a rusted tin can. When Hoo lost his computer he had to load the new one with the current version of Frontpage. The new version works differently from the old version and it's taking a while to get the kinks worked out.

 

I'm patching the obvious problems in place, and they're getting overwritten when Hoo uploads. As we find the problems, He'll fix his local copy, which will fix the endless treadmill.

 

Please submit problems to "Daddy's Place" so that they're in one place for Hoo to review and fix.

Hey Daddy & Hoo, I understand your in Hong Kong. Well enjoy your vacation and don't worry about the site:7 . This is all free to us and I think we all can wait till you get home, it will give us a lot of reviews to catch up on;). Well, it seems to have worked but only partly.

Today (Mon) some of them are there but not all. The new reviews for Brian, Jack Sanders, Jason #2, John, Marcel Deon and Mark Ritter are in their files, but the 12/13 reviews for Antonio, Jason Land and Jeremy are not.

 

The 12/14 reviews seem to be OK.

OK, now Antonio's new review is there, but Jason Land's and Jeremy's are still not.
