We as adults, forget all too often, the pain some of these kids go through growing up. If each of us would just stop and listen to each other, if only for a moment each day, you never know who you might be helping...Thank you Lee for posting. I find myself saying that alot lately. You and your boyfriend must be amazing people.

He's got support! Over 20,000 new friends on Facebook! He's also posted on YouTube thanking everyone for so much support. The kid's gonna make it!

Thank God for social media, one of those times when it will do some good. Thanks trilingual....

One of us is. And it isn't me. I'm dating way above my league, as I've told him many times. What can I say? He likes slumming. :)

This was actually shown to me this morning by my bf's ex-partner, and I told him I would post it where I can. He and his new partner have accepted me as part of the family now. I think he views me as my bf's partner-to-be. Last night, he referred to us to a mutual friend as Richmond's hottest couple. And has called me the gayest man he knows (he obviously didn't see the server Bosguy, doit4bugo and I had for lunch in Worcester a couple of weeks ago. LOL).

Jonah Mowry has been getting a lot of support online and this video is going viral. I hope he knows that it does get better. I know. I'm living proof it does.

There have been quite a few facebook pages put up in support of Jonah. And quite a few supportive videos in response are on Youtube as well, many quite touching as well.. And now, Jonah has been invited by Perez Hilton to his birthday party in March (all expenses paid).

Jonah is doing well and I hope the outpouring of love and support for this young man shows him that the world can indeed be place filled with bright light and sunshine.

Go to facebook and enter Jonah Mowry's name or go to youtube and enter his name and the videos and support pages will pop up.

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can really hurt me. Stop bullying now.

This was painful to watch. I'm glad to hear that social media is helping. I'm praying that putting this out there doesn't give bullies more fodder for making this boy's life a nightmare.

Thank you Lee. It devastated me He is a representative of huge numbers of children who are forced to endure this and other atrocities constantly. Congratulations to this young man for his bravery and positive attitude!!!

Maybe parents viewing these videos will realize how fortunate they are and stop worrying about the price tag is on a gift and give the gift of caring to your children and others less fortunate

If you look further on that same series there is a video which purports that this video was a scam and that the boy who did it is actually popular at school and that none of it is true though he appreciated the support. At the end of the video click the one video which is printed and says something like Jonah Mowry is a phony. I just went back and there is a different selection of videos and the one I checked is not there. Anyway, there seems to be some controversy of the veracity of this video's messenger.

The message is heart rending. Not sure about the messenger.

Whether the messenger is real or not, we all know that the message has been true for a long time and will be true for a long time. Unless things are done about the ways kids (gay kids and other types of kids) are treated in our schools and sometimes even in their own homes. Being somewhat older, I can say with some certainty that times have changed and circumstances have gotten somewhat better for gay kids. But it looks like we still have a lot of changes to make. But we can do it.

My thoughts also TBT. It doesn't matter if it is real for me, it is the message that is so important. And if it is not, it is actually more powerful, because that means that this kid actuallly put this whole thing together and the thought process and delivery of the message was incredible...
