Will this be a day of service?

Of course! It wil be a wonderful, classy day to tour the many wonders of DC---WITH A HOT GUY OR GUYS to guide you through this day of "service" Seriously, these get togethers have become a wonderful way to truly meet other Forum members in a relaxing, low-key, way or whatever you choose

Phil -- of course Bill is correct -- you aren't that far away. Not a hell of a lot further than I am. And certainly closer than Bill or countryboywny. Where else are you going to get a chance to hang out with guys like Dave, Dane, Steven, Nate, and Keenan. And more to come, I assure you. And of course the star of the show, Bosguy. It isn't often you get to see a real life Slutzilla in person. A very rare species indeed.

So hop on I-95. Traffic will be pretty light that morning. Come on and join us.

And of course the suite I reserved will be available for my favorite guys to use. Just leave the money on the bureau--Know how to do that?

It's gonna be so much fun

Delighted that Dave, Dane, Steven and Nate are planning on being there. It ay be just a total weekend of fun for me!

So it looks like Daddy's group will be heavily concentrated at the Palomar. There is a reason for that, for anyone who might be interested in coming from out of town. There is a website, Sniqueaway, who has 7 day sales on different hotels around the country. Sniqueaway is run by Tripadvisor, so it has a good reputation. The hotels it offers as "sales" are 4 and 5 star hotels around the country and frequently includes the Caribbean as well. And until tomorrow, Wednesday 12/7 at noon, the Palomar is on sale. Regular guest rooms are, for most days around the luncheon, $99/night, Executive Kings are $119/night. Normal price is almost twice that. So if someone from out the area is interested, let me know, and I'll have them send you an invite to join. I've used Sniqueaway for other trips and they really are good deals. I already have a trip to Williamsburg planned for Valentine's Day weekend with bf.

Oh gee, I wish I could join you guys - it's not the distance, it's the time commitment - it's tough to take off from work at that time of year for me. Sounds like great fun and I'd like to meet you guys who have written so much that I've enjoyed. Oh well, not ruling it out - just doesn't look likely for me. Then too I've already seen the sights of DC, although not with such fun tour guides.

Great news, Raul.

Lee, we'll need a bigger table at Annie's and please sorbet between the courses. :p[/color]

We'll have to get Annies to let Raul make his special sorbet. From previous posts, there will be at least 3 guys who won't need chairs, cause they'll be under the table and only come up for air. Right, Lee?

Oh. Mr. Raul Get your plans done or I'm gonna kick your ass. The Sniqueaway special at the Palomar ($99) ends tomorrow at noon.

I have an accommodation booked with Marriott and alas I won't be at the Palomar.

Was the "Red Ribbon Campaign" offering the best rate around thru Kimptonhotels.com or Sniqueaway beat it??

Well, I know we can get some sorbet from the Safeway right across the street. And chocolate truffles. And brussel sprouts (peel before insertion, please) and bananas. And if no one brings their floggers, we can always grab some leeks and use those. Been there, done that. And have the t-shirt to prove it. :)

This is really starting to be quite an incredible line-up of talent: escort and client alike. I'm flashing back to the Barracks in Palm Springs last march. Romann, Dane, Ryaan, David-sf, Ace, Nate, Tyger and clients and of course Daddy. 13 Men. Standing on a raised deck outside taking a group picture. And a couple of hundred customers of Barracks all looking at this amazing group, and seeing cell phones throughout the crowd taking pictures. The comraderie of that day, that weekend, has bonded many of us for life. And this is starting to give me the same feeling. I sure hope so.

Sniqueaway beat it by about 20-30%. If I remember, the RRC was about $127 for the standard room, versus $99 for Sniqueaway. The Executive King was $119 on sniqueaway verus about $145-155 using the RRC. That's what really surprised me. RRC is normally pretty competitive with Sniqueaway on most Kimptons. But not this time.

That's one reason to have it on a federal holiday. Easier in and out of dc and lots of people are off. If you are off on MLK Day (1/16/12), it's an easy 2 or 2.5 hour drive to DC from Philly.

Steven. If the "Red Ribbon Campaign" was being offered at rates even somewhat close I would have opted for that but if I went that route, it still would have been $65 more per night

Thanks, Mr. cover every detail. I like organized people!

...or under two hours on Amtrak, entirely civilized. Picks you up and leaves you at the center of each city, fares are very reasonable ($35 each way) with two weeks advance purchase, and there's a quiet car (no loud conversations or cell phone gabbing along the way). Apparently now there's even free wifi. What's not to like?

Or from Philly, about 3 hours each way on Megabus. Get on at 30th street station, and you arrive at Union Station in DC. And right now, you can round trip for about $12 dollars. Yes $12 dollars.

It's a really nice hotel. Been there a number of times to meet clients.
