I got a giggle out of this.. It contains two of my favorite things.. men and beer! It's a theater stunt produced by Carlsberg beer. They rented a 150 seat theater and filled 148 seats with tough biker men, then sold the remaining two seats to unsuspecting couples. Watch to the end.

thanks for posting, countryboywny!

That's is wonderful countryboy. One thing I found interesting is that it was usually the men who were the more reluctant to take the seats. But it goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover.

Thanks.

Lee, I noticed that as well, that the women were sometimes the ones who decided to go ahead.

Thanks, COuntryboy - I posted the link on my Facebook page.

You can have beer at SOME movies in Raleigh NC.

It's becoming more and more common.

The newest multiplex theaters here have a full-service bar in the lobby. Grab your favorite adult beverage and head on in!

I posted it because it really made me feel good to watch. I'm glad it affected others that way.

I enjoyed it very much and it is nice to see many people went and sat down. I wonder how many walked out?

I must admit though, that 148 bikers sitting in a theater and none of them speaking when you walk in is a bit suspicious.

The looks on their faces when they're handed the beers and applause it wonderful!

I probably would have stayed, but that is easy to say after seeing the whole situation...

I don't, however, get to theaters much for movies these days.

I'm only catching on some of the threads here, since I had a commitment the last two nights, then took my transatlantic flight back home. Thanks for posting this, Countryboywny. Actually this was shot in my favorite cinema complex Kinepolis in the vicinity of Brussels called Bruparck.

Orbital, we can have beer, fries and (sometimes) sex at the movies. You know ... Eurotrash! :)

At the Mall of America Theater in Minneapolis, they have a vip theater that you have to be 21 to enter. They have a waitress that will deliver anything available at the concession stand including beer. They also have bigger, rocker seats with a wider armrest and a small table every other seat. All at a cost of $2 more a ticket.

There is a relatively new and small but growing chain of upscale movie theaters called Cinebistro. You can get wine, beer, cocktails and they have a pretty nice menu of food. Waiters come to your seat and take the orders and bring it to you to enjoy while watching the movie. And even better: they now serve as a site for the Metropolitan Opera HD Telecasts. I had a pretty good popcorn chicken during Die Walkure last year. But I'll need to hit the full bar hard by the time we get to Gotterdamerung.
