The Sunday November 3, 2002 Los Angeles Times Magazine featured an important and noteworthy article on male on male prison rape, prevelance of STDs and HIV infections in prisoners, particularly among non-violent or even those in jail but not found guilty.

 

It is something which should be read and acted on, IMHO; unfortunately, I cannot provide a full text link which is free, this leads to a very brief abstract.
