So what. Nobody hurt. They'll rebuild. Not a big story. Do feel sorry for the private house that burned across the bay.

I suspect some people will suffer because of this - the businesses probably represented someone's livelihood. Hopefully the owners had adequate fire insurance to rebuild and to cover lost revenues during that time. But often the employees suffer the most because their jobs are gone, unless the businesses can re-open quickly.

Sounds like arson to me. CBS news reports that the fire started in an alley where propane tanks were stored.

Pure speculation..why would you even say such a thing...I watched the news, and heard nothing that even hinted at arson. Anything is possible, but far too early to tell, don't you think? The owner said he was rebuilding. In arson cases, owners are generally trying to get out of an financial obligation.

Disco Inferno

I was dancing at that night club a couple of summers ago. It was one of the major venues where people actually could get together in the Pines (along with the grocery store).

The news items online say that the cause of fire is still under investigation.
