Why do people feel a need to announce that they're leaving a message board? And where do they go? Do they take their laptop and move from the couch to the recliner? Or, do they actually move from the living room into the kitchen? Do they still peek at the board every now and then?

I haven’t posted on this threat thus far and should probable reframe even now BUT the temptation has simply become too much.

 

I NEVER cease to be amazed by the number of posters on this site who ALLOW their feeling to be “hurt/bruised” by what others post. I will NEVER meet, know or be known by 90%+ of my fellow posters here. Shoreboy makes the same point. Very few of us know each other as “real” people ONLY as anonymous posters on an internet site. Keeping that in mind then why the fuck should any of us be concerned about what others, around here, think of us. I can certainly understand that our feelings can be hurt by the unkind words of family members and friends BUT we are NOT family members or friends. Guys some of us need to take a break, take a deep breath and then take a serious reality check.

Thank you Epig, i have always shared your sentiments about internet interaction and peoples opinions. But for those that make this a serious part of their life, a negative comment pushes them over the edge. For the most part, these sites are NEVER based in Reality, but in the members "minds". I think I have always made it perfectly clear that I dont give a fuck what anyone here says, or who supports me or not.. What you will always get from me is the truth and honesty, not a waffling back and forth to see who or what serves me best and makes me popular.

For some of us this is a pasttime. For others, such as Mike, it is a means of making a living. If you and as a result your services are demeaned, it is more than the skin that has been punctured. Many escorts have suffered the same disgust with the incessant sniping of some posters. When was the last time Steven Kesslar posted here? Romann? Rick and Derek have been here more recently but not in the same way. I suppose Mike will do fine. He was supposedly doing fine before he posted here, so there is no reason that his leaving here will negatively affect his career. He probably will do better personally without being confronted by the bitterness and persistant irritation offerred by some on this site.

As far as being hurt by words here, I think there are probably many here who are more themselves here than they are with their family or friends and so the criticism may have a bit of a sting.

Purplekow, at the best of times, there have always been very few escorts who posted regularly on this site. Posting on these forums simply isn't all that relevant to their professional existence -- having good reviews IS. There is one hell of a big difference between the two.
