Streets totally dead?

Like so many other things, the web/net has become the new place. When is the last time you called a travel agent?

I think the street scene in the USA died more than 10 years ago to be honest. There is still some minimal remaining action in a few places....but what's available to be had is so 'bottom of the barrel' seedy, that very few clients would want to risk it. The internet has killed the street scene. I personally have not hired off the street for at least 15 years. It doesn't even occur to me to go looking anymore.

Yeah, I noticed this too.

 

Twenty years ago (before Giuliani cleaned up NYC), the street scene was paradise. You cold find just about anything if you knew where to look. I had a thing then for Latinos and around the Port Authority and along 9th Ave I never had to search for long to find a really hot guy - some who I arranged to meet on multiple occasions and way below the rate for hiring an escort, but a heck of a lot more fun.

 

Now -- NOTHING. Sad to see all this go. The few (really VERY few) XXX video stores that exist cater to some really ugly and dangerous sorts and so even those are out of the question.
