I've read it when it came out a number of years ago and remember enjoying the "insiders" perspective.

I just finished reading this book, a sort-of memoir about the author's time being a hustler (his word).

Has anyone else read it?

I liked it a lot. It turns out to be as much or more about his addictions than prostitution itself, but it's good, honest. He wrote another book, know nothing about it. One of the best book jackets I've seen.

I found it sometimes good, but an awful lot of it he seemed so distant from the subject. It would also have been a pretty slim book if it had been printed without all the extra spacing.

And I'm wondering if there will ever be a story about this population without the excesses of drugs, alcohol and sex addiction.
