No Do Over Here!

Yeah I'm sure it seems like a great thing at the time BUT Once you put your "Butt on the Internet for Money"..It will stay there forever!

Anybody who thinks they will get a "do over" is very "delusional" at best ...Straight or Gay! So ALL you "purdy young things"...think twice! ;)

If the porn was in the past--then I don't really see how legally they could "jerk" his teaching certificate--unless there were questions on the application form asking in some way about porn activities/sexual practices that he might have lied about. On the other hand. if he was continuing his ventures in porn--then I could see where legally his license could be revoked.

Gman, thanks for your post here - we seem to want to rush to judgement here. I realize that there is a tendency to crucify the closeted gay politicians who get caught - for that matter we seem to go after the straight ones too (Eliot Spritzer comes to mind) But taking away this guys license - for what reason? Is anyone crying for Arnold to give up his pension that I'm sure he is entitled to for having served as governor of California? This country is sooo hung up on sex and keeping everyone squeaky clean. Not sure what I really think about this yet, but I think the guy might have a case after all.

Just processing here - don't tar and feather me for my incompletely formed ideas ill-expressed here.

It's all about the ethics issue and Children! "Working It" in Porn never looks good on the Resume especially if ya forgets to mention it!

How this dude thought it would never "cum" up is really very funny! I'm always amazed at how many people NEVER learn from others mistakes!

I hope that one day a law goes in effect that says something along the lines of, "if you haven't done porn/nude photos in the past X amount of years...then you are free to pursue whatever you want"

It just seems like he had had sex with minors, or filmed child pornography. People in this country are so friggin conservative. Sex is sex and that was his past it shouldn't even be a factor. We all know damn well that most all of those teachers especially in middle and high school are horny toads anyways.

I remember there was a sub teacher back in my high school in Florida who seemed to have a perpetual boner in his pants. We were always making fun of him behind our backs but as far as I know he never got fired. Like literally, you would see a 'bulge' right now by where your cock is when it's hard. And this guy was way older so it was just strange.

But back to the subject, I can understand that it wouldn't be 'kosher' to have kids looking at their teacher's porn videos. but shit, they shouldn't be looking. Don't schools block that material anyway?

On the flip side, public school teaching jobs probably aren't the safest choice. There's all sorts of things out there that can be taught...and sex isn't even on the list!

The situation here in California is quite different. It makes no difference if the porn is gay or straight. If the porn appearance was not illegal the district/school has its hands tied. The district/school administration could, upon becoming aware of the situation, inform the teacher that he/she would be terminated IF he/she were to appear again in a porn flick. Only if the teacher made a porn appearance again, after the warning, could he/she be terminated.

Now if, for example, a teacher were arrested for escorting the situation would be quite different. It the arrest were for solicitation for the purposes of prostitution, which is illegal, here in California, the teacher could be fired BUT only if he/she were convicted of the charges. This situation arose in Anaheim, CA a couple of years ago. The teacher was never brought to trial. However, he resigned because he was about to be fired for using his school owned computer “inappropriately”, about which the school had a published policy, to arrange appointments --- dumb, Dumb, DUMB

Phil, if you dig a little deeper into ANYONES backgorund, noone will come up "squeaky clean". I guess it all depends on the severity of the acts engaged in, and the implications of those acts that are the consideration. If noone is being hurt, whats the big fucking deal ? His image ???

Screw that, they just need to look at his service and performance as a teacher and base a decision on THAT alone. Forget the past !
