It’s a good question, since I don’t find any one of them to be hands down “the best.”

 

Rentboy seem to be the most up-to-date and current with few old/stale listings. Their orderly approach to stats and rates give the escort a nudge to fill in the parts that the client would probably want to know. Unless you sign up as a premium member of Rentboy you can’t enlarge the photos and the review function won’t work for me. I can’t ever get past the first page.

 

Men4rentnow has a much better photo function than Rentboy, and the stale listings (which plagued it previously) seem to be getting fewer, but the lack of slots (not sluts) to fill in what the escort prefers leads to very little information unless the escort has filled in the text block. Few fill it in well. The travel plans section is better than Rentboy, but few escorts seem to use it well.

 

Rentmen has a good format, incorporates videos, but has many fewer listings, especially in small markets, than the first two (above).

 

Since I go to Europe a lot, I got used to using Gayromeo/escorts section. Although the “guestbook” is not the same as Daddysreviews, it can be very helpful in sorting and selecting and I have sorted and selected many escorts in Europe. So I got started using it in the US as well and always check it. I have had very good luck using it in NYC and a bit in smaller markets. I really don’t understand why every escort in the US doesn’t sign up for it. It is free and works well. It just needs a critical mass in each town to become members. It would nicely replace craigslist with a much better functionality.

 

I look at others like Adam4adam and Gadar, but not used them. Gadar has only 4 profiles in NYC, Gayromeo has 74 in Manhattan.

 

So in summary, I used Rentboy and Men4rent now about equally, but I always check gayromeo. I have found some of the best (and best value there). Oh, and there is no need for an escort to buy the premium account, even in NYC.

I've found that the only site that serves the medium- to large-size Midwest cities (other than Chicago) is Men4rentnow.

msnbc.com is my homepage....I also like the forums at city-data.com.....backpacker.com......the National Weather Service pages see me a lot.....Hotwire and Southwest for travel.....azcentral for local news.....

It always amazes me how many entries there are in Rentboy for boston. Must be all those horny college kids and their horny professors.

In NC, I always start with M4RN and then check the other 2 sites, but Rentboy typically only has 2-4 listings for Raleigh (depending on who's traveling through) and, sadly, Rentmen has declined from few to none.

Here in Boston, It's Rentboy for me....M4RN has a good number of guys but seem to include guys who cannot be reached or have not paid for the service lately.

 

Rentboy also gives the most detailed information.

I use Rentboy primarily because it is the most current. M4RN is far too confusing becaue it is loaded with data that is outdated or guys just investigating possibilities. Of course, Daddys is always used to verify choices and, in many cases, to locate guys.

I'm not sure what you mean. There's no premium membership in rentboy. You do have the option of creating an account, but it's all one level (free) and the main advantage I see to that is blocking ads so you don't have to scroll through them each time. In neither case can you enlarge the pics, though. Unless you know something I don't...

Dear Kevin, of course you are correct. I had just become so frustrated with the memberships on Rentboy and their near-uselessness, that I handn't logged in to make another attempt to evaluate the system. I have re-visited the Rentboy membership and find it of very limited value. Then you have to take a second membership to read or write reviews. The searches are cumbersome and lead me to a first page that might say: "303 Escorts Found - Displaying Top 50." I have found no way to go to a second page [the nearly top 50]. Also, if you put in an escort's name to search for a review, I have always gotten " ". That's nothing.

 

Users of the Forum here may be suprised to learn from Rentboy "RB Reviews is the premier review site for male escorts. As a user you can read reviews to find the perfect escort for you. Or, you can tell us all about your experience with an escort."

 

 

So if you can't enlarge or scroll through photos on Rentboy no matter how you are logged in, you can still enlarge and scroll on Men4rentnow no matter how you are logged in.

In New York and L.A., I start with Rentboy, which has the most complete listings and the best presentation format (though searches can be a little buggy). Then I look at Rentmen, which also has a good format, but is fairly light on numbers of escorts and variety. Unless I absolutely have to (which is rare), I won't look at m4rn, which is difficult to browse and full of expired ads. In fact, I will usually check craigslist before m4rn, though that's shopping in a different market segment.

However - the Rentboy photos are typically as big as or slightly larger than the 'enlarged' M4Rn photos, and there's no need to scroll through them - they're right there on the page in their 'full' size.
