As a DC resident for almost 14 years, I can tell you that its not that difficult to find military boys out in the bars. Even though these establishments are "officially" off limits to active duty service personnel but they do go out.

You can find military guys at several of the bars in Dupont Circle including Omega, Badlands, and Cobalt. The Green Lantern and Eagel are also options. (The military boys don't stand out as much as they used to since so many gay guys have been getting the close cropped hair cuts in the last few years.)

However, Vlevet Nation is seriously off limits, so much so that there have been several undercover operations by NCID. Not sure about JR's since its one the most unfriendly bars I have ever visited and I stay out of the place. Skip Remington's all together, its too close to the Marine barracks and these guys are not going to get caught anywhere near the place.

Another plus about DC bars is you will find military guys from other countries in some of these places. A friend of mine has been seeing this really hot Aussie army major for almost a year, they met at Cobalt. These guys are mostly attached to embassy or special temporary duty on military exchange programs.

Keep in mind that active duty military do not go around announcing they are in the service. If you have a keen eye you can spot them based on their builds. I can't explain it further but I have this knack for guessing the branch that a guy serves in be it Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines. Then I will strike up a conversattion with them and get around to the military issue during the conversation once they feel more relaxed.

To me, Marines have the best builds based on their physical training regimes. Just keep this in mind, there are VERY FEW MARINE TOPS!! For some reason Marines love to get fucked. Anyone out there have a theory on that?

Hope this helps, happy hunting.

There are many Military boys in my area. Many are very hot and some are willing to play for some spending money :) . Though you should always use caution when approaching them. Good luck on your quest.

You've been reading my handle :-)

Maybe it's because they always have to be in "control" in their profession, so surrendering their control to others is a turn on to them. I dunno - it's just a guess.

I always said I was an unusual Marine: a top. :7

The thing I seem to read, when reading about this, is that Marines are *so* imbued with chain of command and submission to authority, bottoming is just an extension of that. Following orders is natural to them.

Another theory I've seen is that the pain of bottoming is perceived as a "butch" thing.

Whatever. Bring 'em on! }>

When I lived in Washington, we had our own name for the Eagle.

"The Parakeet Lounge."

Back then (in the 1980s), you could find military guys at the 'keet. Some of them looking very intently for other military guys. I remember being followed out of the 'keet and down the sidewalk by a kid in the Navy who absolutely refused to believe that I wasn't a marine. Sir this, sir that.

So finally I said yeah, I just didn't want to tell you in there, but I'm a captain in the Marine Corps and I'm going to give you the best screwin' you ever had ...

Hey, it's what he wanted. And Christ, I wasn't even an escort. Should have asked for $100 just for my trouble. :-)
