Where are there chat rooms where escorts hang out? Someone suggested that Yahoo chat rooms were a place, but there seem to be no quality escorts there, and even the hint that one is looking for an escort results in attacks from all the resident nellies. Gay.com is much the same.

 

AOL used to have escort chat rooms, but the escorts often got angry if you didn't hire the first one that said 'hello.'

My personal feeling they are good escorts they don't need to be in a chat room because they are busy or are known already. I would guess anyone could go to a chatroom but some how suspect that the good escorts are all ready busy. I may be wrong. Gay.com has rooms , aol has rooms GOOD LUCK

Chuck has a good point. Personally, I never found that hanging in a chat room did anything but waste my time & piss me off, but Franco has posted that he finds them useful...possibly a regional distinction. :+ I think the chat rooms have more part-timers or guys who are just doing it that day to get some cash. The more experienced guys probably don't go there (girlfriend).

I find that 20 to 30 percent of the inquiries I receive on line are guys who just want to get laid and want to know if i am "hunting" or am still "on duty" ([email protected] being the screen name) and so forth. However, it is that other 70 to 80 percent from which I get my clients. Of course, sometimes I am not the escort they are looking for or I am not available when they need an escort or any number of factors, but I have a variety of ways I respond to individuals. I would never spend my afternoon in front of the computer, it is too much of a soul killing experience.

 

New York has several companion only chat rooms. New York also seems to have a great deal of competiveness among the escorts, at least that is what strikes me. In my own instance, I have a certain niche here in Los Angeles, as a top, by age, by demeanor, by body hair, etc.

 

The Twinks swear by Gay Com but they are all younger than I, they appeal to a different market and they can be (at least some of them) more compute savvy than I am.

 

You can always simply do member searches for escorts whom you like and when you find those you do, drop them an email and ask what their availability is like.

 

The only serious problem I have with on line escorting is the clients who want you at the precise moment they want you and otherwise can not be bothered.

 

I think it stems from a culture of walking into a grocery and finding produce year round. Without giving thought to the expense, waste and other "costs" involved.

Well, from being one of the guys who is almost always in an AOL chat room. I do pretty good there. I don't sit in front of my computer...I have the away message on...as 70% of the other guys do. they are in:

While I have AOL - I very rarely use the chat rooms for escorting. I've tried it before but I have found that it's a waste of time because most people in chat rooms are not looking for escorts. I've noticed a lot of escorts in the chat rooms - especially the big cities like Chicago but almost all of them are away from their computer and not available to chat. And I've also noticed a lot of the escorts in chat rooms are very new at escorting or have so many restrictions like the type of client or what they will do. Basically they are looking to have a hot time with another hot dude but they want to get paid for it. Of course, that's not true for all the escorts in the chat rooms. I've had better luck with clients finding me when they do a profile search on AOL. I recommend you try the profile search for the city you are looking for.
