Google narcisstic personality disorder, read the material, and, you will be more "sympatico", if you will, with BN. Too, if you have to experience BN, educate yourself in coping strategies pertinent to the disorder, and "work" the man to your advantage for an optimal experience as, apparently, he has learned how to manipulate a potential client. After all, its your quarter. . .

His flying monkeys are gonna come after you now...

My knickers are in a twist in anxious anticpation of the havoc the hairy boogers will play with me. However, such action would be in keeping with the profile of a person afflicted with narcistic personality disorder. Read the material, gentlemen. . .

He must indeed be a remarkable person to engender such obsession! I wonder what you see when you look in your own mirror?

Nah. BN isn't the wicked witch of the west. He lives in south Texas. We send Jose, the enforcer. :)

Best regards,

I do not know BN but I have seen his name in countless threads over the years.

Your post implies that you are trained in psychology or psychiatry. Does this mean you have diagnosed BN based on your personal examination of him, as indicated by your post?

Or does it mean that you do not like him and are using arm chair analysis as a basis for your post?

I cannot imagine why so many people continue to pursue BN all these years. What has he done that was so terrible that he cannot be left alone?

you've been a member here since 2003, so I'm sure you know the many reasons his obsessive aggressive fan club continue to bring his name up. For those of us who are his clients, he's a great guy. weak armchair psych aside, those of us who actually know BN and write his reviews know that he's good stock.

One of these days I'm gong to hire BN just to find out what all this fuss is about.

Obviously, what his critics fail to comprehend is that all this controversy actually generates more business for Ben. Good or bad publicity is publicity. Ben must be laughing all the way to the bank. Perhaps he should give his detractors a small commission for driving business his way.

Yes, I have read this board for several years. Every now and again I read something pertaining to BN. However, the one and only negative thing I recall BN doing is claiming authorship of some petty blog. And, that was several years ago.

That indiscretion is the basis for continuous haranguing and questionable psychiatric evaluations? Sorry, I just don't get it.

Yes, he is good stock and I'm looking forward to my appointment with him. (Speaking of his reviews, why hasn't there been one published since last October?)

You're not keeping up. There's a conspiracy by the powers that be of this site to not allow any reviews of BN (this is according to BN).

I must be out of it. And I thought the only thing that prevented a review's printing was when the reviewer didn't provide enough info for the review to be verified.

Multiple Personality Disorder!

It must be exhausting to have so many "Multiple Personalities" when it comes to this type of thread over and over again for years! As someone said Years ago..Get Help! ;)

Posted

First I see BN in the thread and utter a "Dear God, here we go again".

I am agnostic on BN -- I take no side one way or the other since I've never hired him. But I'm just wondering: what triggered this post? Did you have an encounter with him? Just curious.

Oh, and paging Glutes. Paging a Mr. Glutes. :)

At the risk of sounding like a judge straight out of an Ealing Comedy, "what is a BN?".

Poor Rich. So innocent. Until now. :)

BN is Benjamin Nicholas. Just the mention of his name, or now simply his initials, will normally start a flame war between those who adore him and those who loathe him. In parts comical, in parts sad, but always, ALWAYS predictible how it's going to turn out.

The question that needs to be asked on any BN thread: What's the over/under on number of posts before Daddy locks the thread because it's boring?

“I’m going to kill you to death!” Kirk shouted, shaking his fist at the now cowering Talonian.

“Captain,” Spock said softly, placing a steadying hand on Kirk’s shoulder. “The Talaonian was not threatening to kill me when he said he would like to run me through with his knife. He was, in fact, propositioning me.”

“Oh,” Kirk said.

“Furthermore, your utterance was redundant.”

“Well,” Kirk said with a shrug, “I wanted to make extra sure he knew just how dead he was going to be if he messed with my First Officer.”

“Illogical,” Spock commented, “But the sentiment is appreciated.”

Oh shit, what have I stepped into now? Lee, thanks for enlightening me, I can now search the Board and find out what all the fuss is about!

Ahhh, the penny's finally dropped. BN is an escort and lives in San Antonio? This is who Glutes thinks I am, huh? LMFAO. :D

What do I see when I look in my own mirror: with particular regard to the "industry", my reflection returns the image of a discriminating "client" who has learned not to drive a vehicle off the lot without a thorough inspection. "I ain't obsesesed," an estimable woman, employed by my family, once remarked to me, "I is particular". I have taken her remark as "good advice" in the conduct of my personal life.

You confuse "pursuit" with "comment" which, to the best of my understanding, is the purpose of this forum. My post does not, in any aspect, imply that I am trained in psychology or psychiatry. I did have an association of some fifeen years with an escort who was diagnosed, by several qualified mental health care professionals, as being afflicted with narcisstic personality disorder, and, in his interest, I did have numerous consultations with those professionals to determine a course of treatment for him; unfortunately, there is no satisfactory treatment for the malady. The best advisement they could give me was "run". As by my intial post, read the material and make your own obervation. Lastly, I have met BN in a "social setting" but not as a "client"; I prefer the company of escorts who are not as "celebrated", if you will, in their "press".

Yawn.

I guess we're not talking about Cher here. Caught a five-minute glimpse of Burlesque on HBO a few nights ago and was reminded why I couldn't go anywhere near this movie when it played in theaters. Absolutely dreadful! Everything about it was fake, fake, fake, fake, fake, fake. And good god, what has Cher done with her lips? She had no lips in the 70's The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour. 40 years later, she's been rimming a snowman all that time. Kinda sad. I love Cher but she's always been a quirky mess.

I thought the only thing that prevented a review's printing was when the reviewer didn't provide enough info for the review to be verified.

Then you be naive.

Encoded Circular References to every 3rd line.

Either Daddy's on crack or he's speaking a language only the Klingons and Muppets can understand. Who has time to decipher? Who cares? Hooboy is dead and whatever special friendships he had are dead, too. When players change, things change. One must deal with change to survive.

There's nothing worse than being boring, or making no sense.

are you high on drugs? you make a 'diagnosis' on someone, supposedly only having known of them in a 'social' setting. Who is to say you have even met benjamin? Can you prove that, or better yet, can you provide some evidence that what you said about his 'disorder' was the truth? you're basically full of lofty sounding shit. Unless your '15 years' was spent with bn, I'd suggest you pipe down on this one bub.

Rockhard: I don't agree with everything you say, but enjoyed the reply here. I am fully aware of the politics at play behind the scenes.
