Not been hiring that long but had lucked out and found a real sweetheart that met all my criteria. Texted him today and he has quit the biz. I truly hope he has gone to pursue other interests, but he will be missed.

Maybe its a sign that I should quit hiring or maybe I shouldn't rely too much on one person. Oh well, one day at a time.

Don't be too upset. My "goto guy" got an attitude so I started shopping around! It turned out great. There is plenty out there to hire.

From my experiences.. The Best do seem to "Move On in Life" Faster than the Rest! ;)

I know what you mean. I found a great guy in Indianapolis (Bryan Nash), not exactly overflowing with great escorts, had a mind-blowing, cathartic role-play session with him . . . and then not long after that he retired from escorting. Let's see . . . he was smart, good-looking, imaginative, creative, liked people, extrememly professional, and an ambitious young man. Hmm. Maybe he found even greater success in another line of work. Or a bf who wanted him all for himself.

On the contrary, The Best also tend to persevere and keep their clients entertained for months, even years. Maintaining a steady base.

My habit is I tend to get bored in a particular city after awhile and move on, thus losing regulars. But wherever I end up tends to turn out better than where I was before.

I do sort of feel it would have been fair to let you know ahead of time. I'm sure the decision to stop wasn't cold turkey. For example I had a regular who just moved away let me know 2 or 3 appointments prior. I tried making the last couple appointments the best damn ones in hopes he'll fly me out to his someday...

Did he recommend an alternate or someone else that might please you?

The Best advice is NEVER, EVER put all your eggs in One basket....

I've always loved Dorothy Parker's version, "It serves me right for putting all my eggs in one bastard!". :D

No he did not. It was actually a very brief, goodbye. But on the bright side, I have now had two appointments with a very likely candidate for his replacement. My luck may be changing.

I'd advise a period of "Comparison Shopping" for a New "Working Guy" you might even find better than you had? ;)

Unless you are "Geographically Challanged" with little in the way of choice to Work with?

While comparison shopping is fun, I think I may have found "the one".
