It's interesting that you decided I was talking about you. You certainly aren't the only self-hater on this board.

 

As to my handle, I used to post under another name and I became so disillusioned with this site, Hooboy and a few of the regular posters that I just dumped the whole thing, not looking at the site or posting for quite some time.

 

When I took a second look I saw a lot to continue disliking since the inmates were still running this asylum, so I came back as BITCHBOY. All this is rather boring to say the least, but hence the name.

 

I haven't changed my opinion of HooBoy or many of the regular posters here, but getting happier with myself, "coming out" publicly as gay and falling in love has softened me, so I don't find it necessary to bitch about every single thing that rubs me the wrong way. You, obviously, could better use the moniker than me. You can have it for a small fee.

To jwraustin, it's typical that when a client says anything negative about an escort experience you guys try to turn it around and blame the client. When I 'think about it' that's what I come up with. Why don't you take a look through the escort reviews here and tell me how many reviews, even positive ones, you see where the escort did not have the courtesy to show up on time. If this means I've been hiring the wrong escorts then a hell of a lot of other people have too.

 

I don't care if escorts don't want me to know their real names or other personal information. I'd just like to stop seeing the same escorts who complain about clients getting too personal also complain about clients being too impersonal. Why don't you think about that?

Surely you aren't suggesting that there are no mental health workers (psychiatrists, psychologists, or other psychotherapists) who visit this site and hire escorts -- are you? I'm sure that along with doctors, lawyers, firefighters, etc -- they are here.

 

I totally agree with the idea that one shouldn't "deify" an escort. I understand a review being a little "gushing," but will agree that it's sad when a client acts like the escort is doing him a favor by accepting his business or fawns all over someone because he has good business skills. I don't think that the majority of the message board threads constitute this kind of "fan mail," though. What I notice mostly is escorts with a sense of humor and humility and clients who enjoy interacting with them. (Then again, as I previously wrote, I do ignore most of the threads here simply because the subject heading doesn't grab my attention and there are only so many hours in the day.)

 

If this thread was intended only to address escorts being "deified" (and that is as silly as any other public figure being deified, in my opinion), it certainly got muddled when the extremely broad brush came out and attempted to create an impression that "nearly all" escort postings are "full of loathing for the client" and that "clients have such low self esteem. You think an escort is above you, some great gift from the almighty." (It's unclear whether Kalifornia was intending his statements about clients to refer to "all" clients, but his failure to use any qualifier gives an insight into his thought process.) In these statements I see loathing for escorts and other clients. You can draw your own conclusions as to what this is about. Since my perception about what gets posted here is quite different, I am left with the impression that an "agenda" is at work here, and not the alleged agenda that this site is only for glorification of escorts or that any dissenting points of view are silenced.

Rod, thanks for the suggestion but I almost never hire from reviews here whether they talk about punctuality or not. Only a tiny percentage of the people reviewed here have the combination of age and physical characteristics I am looking for AND are located somewhere that makes it practical for us to meet. I mostly visit this site because I am curious about the opinions of other johns.

 

Having someone show up late does not always ruin an appointment, at least not for me, but I find it inappropriate for escorts to complain about lack of respect from clients when so many of them lack the respect to give clients that very basic courtesy.

Two very practical suggestions:

 

1. When you can your escort to set up the appointment advise them you expect them on time. Tell them if they cannot be there at the precise moment you want them there, the appointment is off. Afterall, this is the kind of courtesy and service the cable company, telephone company, gas company, movers and Federal Express extends to its paying customers, so why can not a simple stupid whore manage it, no?

 

2. If you are only interested in this site for what the "johns" have to say, perhaps it would help your overall outlook on things to not read, much less respond so much to what the ESCORTS are writing, as that seems to be causing you a certain amount of distress and discomfort. But then again, that would just be my at-a-distance, based on surface analysis and interpretation, no?
