Saw it last night. Another good dramatic and moving production. Originally written as a short story by Tennessee Williams in 1944, he later adapted it for a screenplay and then put it away where it was left until recently rediscovered.

Ollie Olsen is a handsome young man who has everything going for him. He is a naval boxing champ and life is good. A tragic car accident leaves him with one arm and his life crumbles away. When we first meet Ollie, he is on death row awaiting execution for the murder of a pornographer. While in jail his life as a street hustler unfolds. Brutal and hard, Ollie lives day to day hoping for that one big break that will relieve his angusih and torment. Alas, it never happens and in the end he is executed.

It runs only about 70 minutes with no intermission. Directed by Moises Kaufman, it was a good show with a good cast. Also in a limited run. See it soon.

I saw this show in New York last month and thought that the main character was excellently played. Now, ina life imitates art case, a one man is suing the TSA for saying he is not fit to work. Should he then become a male escort?

One-handed former boxer sues TSA for denying him employment and saying he's unfit to work
