Try the St Marks at Astor Place. It's not too horrible.

But the rooms are so tiny, dormitory style. Not a romantic setting, unless you are trying to recreate the atmosphere of a gay bathhouse.

I never said that the St Marks was the Four Seasos, but, right, the Liberty Inn is probably a better bet. It was very well reviewed in the New York Times, of all places ...

I called to confirm and they said they don't do hour rates.

And the Liberty Inn in their website state that they basically offer their rooms to "romantic couples"....for 60$ 2 hours.

I once stopped at a Holiday Inn on Long Island and they had hourly rates as many truckers stopped there to catch a few hours rest. I believe many hotels may have an hourly or partial evening rate if you approach them in person rather than call.

The Liberty Inn would be absolutely ideal, its clean, with a great west side location, multiple channels of porn, several mirrors in each room making for a sexy enviroment etc, however, on the one occasion I attempted to rent a room there, I was extremely disapointed to find that they are not too keen on allowing two men in together (and they have a rule that both parties who are sharing a room must enter at the time of check-in). They had actually already checked me in & I guess they thought I was either alone or I was a having a "lady friend" join me, but when a male client showed up instead, the Russian douche bag working the front desk immediately said "No more room. No VACANCY!" and he refunded me my cash deposit on the spot and we were asked to leave immediately. I was shocked. Especially considering this place is in Chelsea.

Hi guys have been lurking here a while but one I have used and is pretty clean and had no issues is the manhattan hotel on 38 close to 8th ave. It's 65 for 3 hours and never had an issue when 2 guys showed up

Yes just have your $65 ask for a room for a couple hours and off you go to have some fun. Btw besides the rooms being clean they have a clean bathroom in them too. Ive used the hotel a few times now for "morning meetings". And never had a problem getting a room
