Prohibition New Gay Club in Atlantic City

Resorts Intermational has opened a Gay-centric Night Club in Atlantic City. On the 13th floor of the first Atlantic City Casino, Prohibition has opened. The opening was rather subdued but it was scheduled to coinside with the opening of a Drag Beauty Contest show name "Miss'd America". Could this be a return to the halcyon days of AC as a gay friendly resort town? Has anyone here been to Prohibition in the 3 days it has been opened. Would the opening of this club make you more likely to go to AC? I will probably check it out over the summer.

SWELL - Asbury Park, NJ

 

Almost but not quite neighbors with Atlantic City & speaking of new clubs - does anyone know what's up with SWELL in Asbury Park...according to their facebook page, they're moving into a new location / but exactly where is a mystery.

 

If anyone has been recently, please let us know where they moved and did the go-go dancers move with them ?

Hmmm...living relatively close to AC I will have to check it out.

 

The only other gay bar in AC is called "Hunkmania" and trust me you take your life into your hands by even going there since the location is very seedy and dangerous.

 

Since the casinos have overtaken everything in AC I have not found it to be gay friendly at all...so we will see if it works and or lasts
