I was with an escort recently who said he was outed by a family friend who saw his pictures on one of the various sites. I'm curious, have any of you been outed by family, friends or acquaintances? If so, did they keep it to themselves or did they tell anyone who would listen? Just curious if this has happened to any of you and how you handled the situation.

Yes... I've been outed that way several times as much as I can be outed... I mean I really have not ever hidden it. I advertise publicly and am in porn/publications. It would be hard for me to hide it. The outing has made for some interesting conversation and secured Clients for me as well~ My entire Family knew I was going into Escorting and Porn before I actually did either one. I did not want them to be the last to know or misinformed or embarrassed about it. It;s not a dirty secret for me but rather a valid Profession that hopefully helps others and that I know I definitely learn from and grow from considerably. What I don't like is when I'm hanging with a friend who knows, and he automatically assumes it's ok to say immature crap whenever my phone rings AND it happens to be around one of their friends whom I don't know very well.
