What have I done? First-time client goes for 2?

After discovering this site nearly a year ago, being continuously "interested" (obsessed??...LOL) ever since, and having contributed some...umm...views occasionally, I'm finally taking the first steps to becoming a full-fledged client. :7 I have a business trip to LA next week which provides an excellent opportunity for my initiation into the rather...umm...unique fraternity that frequents this site.

 

But, I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew. }>

 

(Actually I'm not a virgin client. I hired 9 years ago but sadly there is nothing worth reporting about that experience). Exit that disaster, and enter Hooboy savvy. :o

 

When I knew I'd be going to LA, I arranged for Escort #1. I was OH SO methodical in that choice, prudent in the expenditure involved, and confident that he would (will) erase all the bad memories of my first escort experience. }>

 

Then suddenly some plans changed and I had an open evening. I was browsing this site when I innocently saw a reference to Escort #2 in LA, who sounded just like my type.

 

It took me over a month plus several emails, IM's and phone calls to select Escort #l. It took less than an hour and 2 emails to make a date with Escort #2. :+ At this rate, I'll be cruising Santa Monica Blvd in between dates. :9

 

So, I'll be jumping in with both feet, or killing two birds with one stone, or confirming that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, or getting two for the price of...umm...I don't think so x( , or doubling the pleasure and doubling the fun... or, well you get the idea. :-)

 

N E Ways, I'm just sharing with some new found buds here. Of course, I'll be a responsible Hooboy member and will submit quality reviews :9 .

Come on in the water's fine. I just recently posted my first review of my first escort experience (see yesterday's coverboy Mitch Buchanan). I plan a trip to Atlanta in November and will use that trip to try another based on the good experience that I had in Greensboro.

All of the people on this site who have responded to my posts have been real nice and supportive. So I say

Mark - I am in a similar situation. I am plannig a trip to southern CA at the end of this month and already have a committment for one night, and several possible others waiting for a confirmation for a second night. (I discovered that most escorts don't really like to plan much more than 1 week in advance). At first it felt a bit reckless, but now I think I'm going to have a lot of fun!

 

I too have only had one previous escort experience that wasn't particularly positive, (over a year ago, before I discovered this site). In fact, the guy had several neutral/negative reviews here already. Now I won't hire someone who hasn't had some reliable reviews first on this site.

 

I completely understand the process you've gone through, I've done the same thing - now I am discovering that maybe planning too far in advance just makes me want more since I have so much time to think about it!

 

Just relax and have fun, and do tell us all about your experience!

LOL...slut, huh? :9 N E Ways, I'm baaaaack. Short report: Escort #1 cancelled the night before I left. x( More about that later. Escort #2 was, well, read my review of Justin #2 in LA when it appears sometime hopefully in the next week or so. }> :* :7 :o (Does that give you any clue?).

 

I also hired a guy through a service when my first guy cancelled. The service was really great, but the escort was, umm, mediocre IMHO. :-( I am undecided whether to write a review or not. Without my saying any more, give me some advice on what I should do. Or, tell me what some of you have done in "similar" situations. THANKS!!

First of all, good luck..hope you have a great time. This site is a great service in hiring escorts...it is not,however, infallible.But write reviews..... we all depend upon them..though we must sort them out.There is the "kid in the candy store" phenomenon. I have beeen hiring escorts for nearly two years.My first year..I hired twenty-one times( mostly different guys but also three or four repeats and two threepeats),this past year I have hired four times.The reason is not primarily economic..but that can get out of control too.I have written many reviews. On a mediocre date..I do not generally write a review..unless the guy was previously super-hyped. Great escort...great review.These guys deserve good reviews. I have only written one negative review.I have been stood up a few times and had some disappointing meetings..but the majority of meetings were good and worth it.... and a few meetings were great.

There are so many reasons why we hire and how often we hire. I would generally only write a bad review for a dishonest or violent escort..or possibly one who is egregiously irresponsbile ( a repeated or outrageous no-show).Treat everyone with respect...don't be a "no-show" yourself. If you book a date and then your plans change (it happens) be good enough to give the escort advance notice

so he can fill that time slot.Don't take these meetings too personally{good or bad) because it is generally a purely financial transaction.Again..good luck and have fun.

Mark, i know how you feel! I only came out 5 years ago, and even though I live in L.A., the first escort i did it with was in NYC!! I was very nervous! Fast forward, While i date frequently in L.A., I have developed this addiction(maybe I need Betty Ford).... I go to Rio several times a year to their famous suanas and do 7 or 8 guys in a day for 7 days and fly back to L.A. to get some rest! I end up doing more guys in a day then i did my first year out! You took the words right out of my mouth. Talk about angst. If every decision in his life gives him as much of a problem as hiring a hooker, he'll be old before his time.

I'm not really sure what the fuck's going on here ;-) , but in a perverse way it almost reminds me of a fraternity exercise. The first replies to my initial post were positive and generous (like the "rush") :* , and now these snotty posts from some of the cheap shot artists who hang here (like the "hazing"). :9

 

So, yeah, I've now officially joined the fraternity here, having hired twice as a result of this site. }> And, yeah, I'm not such a fool that I think I know everything there is to know about maxing out one's enjoyment of escorts. x( Sooooo, I'll continue to use this site as a resource and will ask for advice when I choose. :o
