My father made me learn the multiplication tables to twelve in the 1st grade. So yeah

 

We had a ceramic tile display, mounted on a rolling frame. One side was addition/subtraction, the other side was multiplication/division. The numbers were spray painted on the tiles with those ancient cut and trim stencils. 1-12 top and 1-12 along the side. It was green with white grout on a clear stained oak frame. I can still close my eyes and see the entire board...
