I have looked/read your blog several times, but find that it is not very interesting. Further, if any of your clients or potential clients read this they may be reluctant to engage your services for fear of being featured in a future blog episode. Your business requires utmost discretion, not unlike an attorney or a physician. I don't think most of us would want to read about our professional involvement with either, and I suspect that most of your clients do not want to be featured even if it is "anonymous". Of course, this is only in MHO and others may feel differently about it.

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I'm sorry you didn't find it that interesting. I don't expect everyone will. However, there are some who do and are curious about the life of escorting. A few friends do know that I escort and are entertained by my adventures. Thje blof is in no way linked to me so I'm hoping none of my clients will find out who the writer is. I suspect though some of my clients would be amused by what I have to say. Again, I always change the names and location of any client mentioned in the blog. The scenario reminds me of that show "Hung" but I've never thought that show was particularly realistic. What has it been like for you?

 

And what's it like escorting and having a boyfriend? You mention he knows you escort, and in fact sounds like he encouraged you... do you tell him about your appointments when you get home?

 

I think some of these kinds of reflections could be pretty interesting. Keep up the good work!

I'm finding out that there is a market for older good looking guys who take good care of their bodies. My boyfriend knows about all my clients and what I do with them. Each time I'm with a client he knows where am at and I always call him when I'm done. Though at times he does express his opposing opinions on how I handle certain situations, he has been VERY supportive.

I'm not so sure about that. Most ads I've seen so far feature escorts in their 20s and 30s, but there are some hotties in their 40s, and I've seen a guy who was 50+ and still offering sensual massages. Not every man who hires a male escort is looking for a skinny 18 year old twinkie or a college jock.

If you want to improve the style and content of your blog, it may pay to read a few of the gay classics that revolved around the lives of gay escorts. Examples that come to mind would be "City of Night" by John Rechy, the national bestseller from years ago, or some of the new works by Aiden Shaw. I'm sure others on this site could recommend even better books that could help out.

Thanks for your comments. I was very nervous when I first started escorting and really had no idea what to expect. Overall, I've really haven't had too many bad experiences. Most of the guys I have met have all been very easy to be with. Of course every now and then you get someone who is a bit too difficult to deal with. I just find if I'm extra nice to them, they usually change their attitude

I think that it is naive of you to assume that if someone is rich they will/or should give you a tip. Perhaps if you feel slighted, you should ask a rate that you feel you are worth and get on with it.

 

I know someone who is very well off, and he worked very hard, from humble beginnings. He is the most generous tipper I have ever met. I also know people who are very well off, and have been for their entire lives, and they are also very tight with there money.

 

This article seems to be more about your judgment of people you perceive to be rich. Maybe you feel a bit slighted that they have what you do not?

I think you might want to reconsider your attitude about your fee and whether or not you get a tip. First, if you need tip (I prefer, gratuity) income, your rate is too low. The rate you communicate should be an all-in number. You shouldn't want, desire, or need more than the rate you quote.

 

If, after, a satisfactory session you are given your quoted rate, you should express appreciation to your client for honoring the agreement you offered him.

 

If you are given a gratuity - in the form of money or gifts - you should consider that a welcome surprise gift and express your appreciation.

 

Thinking "Rich" people are stingy after paying you $3-5/minute for your time is not a very attractive, to me.

Yes, I read it, particularly...

As I was showering I thought I did a great job and provided this guy with exactly what he wanted. I knew for sure he would give me a generous tip. After showering we chatted for a few minutes, he gave me my money, and thanked me for a great time. I got into my car and counted my money. NO TIP!!!

 

As I drove down his secluded road, I thought to myself, “I’ve been tipped by guys with far less money than him.” It seems as if the guys who really can afford to tip, rarely do.

 

Well, first, it’s always a bit funny to listen to people who have the strong need to brag about how rich they are. OK, I’m sure we all love to brag if we accomplish highly, but don’t they understand that it means nothing to me, an escort, if they don’t pay me well? Sorry to sound crass, but that’s just reality. I wonder how these guys could get rich and stay rich if they pretend to not know the delicate art of tipping. Don’t they need to “tip” lots of people around them on the way to richness? Shouldn’t they remember the importance of this small gesture?

 

The first paragraph I quoted here is why I said:

Your reasoning implies you might agree with the statement, 'Rich people should pay $1.00 more per gallon of gas because they can afford it.' or 'Rich people should pay $50/more for the same seat in the movie theater because they can afford it.' I don't believe you believe those examples, but I'm trying to draw equivalents.

 

You're selling an experience, a period of time in which the client doesn't want to be judged in a negative fashion but to be praised. Yeah, some asses wanna brag about their accomplishments, how thick their wallet is, and how awesome their surroundings are, but that's as much a part of their 'escape from reality' as having a sexy guy with them to share time and adventures.

 

I still think it's more about you're going to get your rate for your time. He may give you a gratuity, he may not, but intrinsically in the acceptance of the appointment, you've set your rate.

 

You can't argue that you're a professional and compare your business to being a waiter. Accountants, Engineers, Lawyers and Doctors don't expect a tip. They expect their fee.

Wow!!! I had no idea there were such strong feelings about tipping. Though we are "professional" I don't see anything wrong in tipping your escort if he has gone beyond your expectations or has done something special to accommodate you. In no means did I ever say I expect a tip every time I see a client. My observations has been that as a rule (not all the time), my richest clients rarely tip and the clients who don't have a huge disposable income do tip. Again, I never expect to get a tip and am always very thankful to my clients with or without a tip.
