"Author Robert Randolph has been talking to the tabloids about John Travolta's habit of hooking up with men at Los Angeles saunas. Most media outlets, however, were too shy to delve into the steamy details. Randolph, an interior designer by trade, says he first started visiting LA's City Spa in 1995. It wasn't long, he claims, before he encountered fellow members and notorious closet case John Travolta, who frequented the spa to hook up with other men. He's publishing an account of his run-ins with Travolta - and a number of other celebrities - on the spa scene in a self-published book entitled You'll Never Spa in This Town Again, which you can pre-order on his website....

Randolph says his first encounter with Travolta, who was then in his early 40's, took place in one of the spa's steam rooms. "I walked in and the guy was giving John a blowjob and, like guys do, he pulled his head up when I walked in. Then they left the room, " Randolph described Travolta's mate as a "very handsome, very hung" Middle-Eastern man. "I decided to follow them. There was an empty massage room upstairs where guys could go and haver sex. I followed them up there and I went in the next room where I normally got my messages, and I watched them have sex. Full-blown anal sex. In case you're wondering, Travolta is a bottom."

There's nothing wrong with hooking up with guys in bathhouses: we firmly believe that consenting adults should have as much sex as humanly possible. But Travolta's salacious trips to steam rooms are a little unusual considering the circumstances. Not only has he been married to Kelly Preston since 1991 (and fathered three children with her), he's also a prominent member of the Church of Scientology, which believes in "curing" people of their homosexuality. But Scientology's position on the issue hasn't stopped Travolta from leading a rather active gay sex life, according to Randolph. Travolta, he says, visited gay spa's several times a week, and was always on the lookout for some man-on-man action. And Randolph claims he's seen Travolta in any number of compromising positions over the years.

Speaking of never coming out, it's doubtful Travolta ever will - especially considering he has a pregnant wife and is devoted to an anti-gay "religious" group. According to Randolph."

Is it possible that it's just John's look alike?

Possible but unlikely. Maybe more possible this guy fabricated it but no matter what, imho, the guy is total trash to write this kind of thing just for his own profit. I know it happens all the time but still it just makes my skin crawl.

I agree with you JGoo. Regardless of all the background noise in Travolta's life, his pitfalls, tragedies, etc., he tries pretty hard to be a nice guy. He probably doesn't give two shits what people are thinking. Maybe none of his alleged gay lovers have come forward (like Tiger's *****s did) because they respect the man, his tastes and his privacy. I refused to believe there are no peeps with that kind of dignity left in the world. Who respect privacy and shut the fuck up about it. The fact that this creep is making money on the gossip is repulsive.

Travolta may be gay? This news is so shocking I just dropped my lube bottle! (not really). What's next?...Snoop Dogg smokes pot? Rosie O'Donnell's Obese? George Lopez is Hispanic? The sad thing is that many people will probably buy this salacious book, damn it.

Travolta's Name has been popping up ON and OFF with Gay Disussions probably since The Premiere of "Saturday Night Fever"!

It always boils down to someone who is looking to make a buck off "Gossip & Inuendo"..

I always found him Entertaining and really don't give a "Rats Ass" what his Sexual Biz is!

Or maybe even Welcome Back, Kotter.

Although still one of the strangest things in the history of Hollywood filmmaking to me was to the sequel to SNF -- Staying Alive. Directed by Sylvester Stallone. Sly Stallone? Are you kdding me?? What a hoot of a movie. That movie certainly raised the Travolta beefcake factor and I think stoked the gay rumors for quite a while.

Well for someone who has made over 40 movies with a world wide gross of over $4.3billion in ticket sales, I think in totality that is pretty good results for a career in the movies and I guess there are bound to be a few duds along the way.

Bottom line for me is I could care less if he is gay, bi or str8. It's his business (and his wife's I would also say) and no one elses.

Actually to me the biggest surprise is they turned it over to Sylverster Stallone. Not exactly what I would call a "Song and Dance Man". That's the funny part. But as far as Travolta's sexuality, I really couldn't possibly care any less. You couldn't measure my interest with a micrometer. And jgoo, you are 100% right - IT'S NO ONE ELSE'S BUSINES BESIDES HIS AND HIS FAMILY.

Yeah, I agree and think it shouldn't matter exept when their being hyprocrits. Like Senator Larry Craig, Ted haggard, etc. However, it also seems when it comes to the straight side the "who's doing who at the moment" is covered ad nausium on shows like like E entertainment, TMZ, etc. However, when it comes to gay sex it's still considered kind of a taboo topic.

Who cares if John Travolta is a nice guy? Perhaps Tom Cruise is a nice guy as well. They both are prominant in the Church of Scientology, which as Rick points out was a srong supporter of Prop 8. And it's not as if Travolta just wondered into Scientology now, he's been an strong advocate for the Church for decades. A Church that hates the gay and lesbian community.

I have no opinion of the book either way, but am surprised that people are selecting their favorite Travolta films, rather than blasting his ties to Scientology. How is Travolta different from Larry Craig and Ted Haggard?

I like reading such things as "I could care less if he's gay"; come on guys that's why we're here, we're

queer and enjoy thinking other hotties or former hotties are the same. Why stick up for Travolta, he's

been rumored gay for at least 20 years if not more, just like gay Tom Cruise, now come on anyone

think he's not. I don't like outing anyone but don't be a jackass and pretend you are higher than

others. And my the way Kenny Chesney is also gay and if anyone thinks he's not, well ask those

who have escorted for him.

Hmmm...:D

And by the way Kenny Chesney is also gay and if anyone thinks he's not, well...

Just read this on his Wiki page:

On May 9, 2005, Kenny Chesney married actress Renee Zellweger in a ceremony on the island of St. John... after only four months of marriage, they announced their plans for an annulment. Zellweger cited fraud as the reason in the related papers, but after media scrutiny of her use of the word "fraud", she qualified the use of the term, stating it was "simply legal language and not a reflection of Kenny's character". Chesney later suggested the failure of his marriage was due to "panic" from the intense media scrutiny surrounding it. In an interview by 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper, Chesney commented on the failed marriage. "The only fraud that was committed was me thinking that I knew what it was like…that I really understood what it was like to be married, and I really didn't."

Hmmm...:D

Such a shock....

Anyone remember when Paul Baressi (now a porn director) told the National Enquirer that Travolta was gay and that he liked to be spanked? Baressi (maybe Barressi) was also Travolta's personal trainer at the time and Travolta got him cast as one of the naked guys in the locker room in the movie, "Perfect".. He was also married at the time and according to him, he and his wife had to leave LA because so many fellow Scientologists were harassing them....

Idle gossip? Sure, but why it matters is the hypocrisy of it and his using his status as a movie star, his power such as it is (some of which we as a gay community afford him.... I mean, who else went to see "Hairspray"?...) against us...

For which, he does deserve a good spanking, but then again, he would like it too much...

Okie

Okie, this thread is the first time the niceness of the posts here (that others have mentioned) has really bothered me. A few years ago, the Travolta book would have been a hotly debated issue, with some mild name calling at least. Hey, I am thrilled by how nice everyone is to each other, but perhaps we have gone too far in that direction. Alan

Nice is nice, but....

So, are you agreeing with me, in theory? That level of passion/intensity of rhetoric has been lowered?

(Well, if you are really concerned about the politeness of this gentleman's club, check out the vick is a dick thread... glutes and jimboi are going pit bull... yet again... and shockingly, somehow, we got from Vick's unforgivable animal cruelty to BN's cutting and pasting.... ain't that a leap?.... training, starving, beating dogs to bring out their most primal instincts..... to.... teasing, tempting, misrepresenting but still giving us what we wanted to hear..... who committed the worse crime? Ask the dogs...)

But alanm, I concur... the old guard would have torn this topic up, God bless 'em... maybe, if Travolta had been in the steam room with BN?.... or if Travolta had promised to write a review for Ryan Cade and then, it slipped his mind?.....or if Travolta had written a list, thanking all his pals that helped him find his way to being the best bottom that he could be (double penetration, really??? Good for you and you went to the master, hats off..) and then got called out by a newbie that sounded an awful lot like Ryan Cade?...

Then, maybe, the conversation might have gotten beyond tepid and all the way to heated...

Kisses and Hugs? Hugs and Kisses?

Fuck it. Just sit on my face. That is, if you are David... or Kristian or one of the AJs (Justice and Irons)...

Happy Rimming birthday to me.

Okie

Lip-Lock

It just seems peculiar to me that an actor of Travolta’s stature would put himself at such risk of exposure by having public sex in saunas, clubs, massage parlors, etc.? I would think not, though he had apparently no qualms with locking lips with his children's male nanny in a photo that made the rounds a couple years ago. Remember that?
