Has anyone else noticed that a high proportion of guys in XXX hardcore photos wear trainers? Is this some kind of strange fashion statement or a fetish or what? They can't just have forgotten to take them off, because I'm pretty sure they would have to take off their trainers to get their jeans off. Whatis bit about trainers on an otherwise nude guy? Sexy? I'm not sure if I'm interpreting "trainers" correctly, but there is a type of "tennis shoe" which is neither a "walker" nor a "running shoe" but halfway between, thus a "cross-trainer" which I imagine must have gotten shortened in certain parts of the country to "trainer". Which is not the same as in the Bel Ami series, "Personal Trainers" which is about experienced porn actors training a newbie in the ways of having sex on camera.

Well, the word itself should tell you.....it is a person who "trains" individuals in what they are engaging in....in this case the "trainer" trains the porn star to fuck, suck, etc....whatever is called fall. Many times, the trainer becomes the fluffer. Eventually they will be known as "The flufftrain".

Rick, I think Bilbo had it right (first half of his response). Get thee to a sneaker store (or athletic footwear store) and you will see "cross-trainers" as one type among many on display. I also have one Brit friend who uses "trainers" generically for what I call "sneakers."
