In the latest battle between Ryan Cade and others, DoIt started and extremely nasty thread and the thread was finally locked and Ryan was Timed Out. Why did DoIt not get a time out also since he started the thread??? Shit slinging takes two or more to tango and Doit was in the frey just as much as Ryan. This seems to reek of favortism.

Doit's thread was in response to Ryan's nasty remarks in a different thread... actually two different threads in two different forums... Ryan initiated the whole incident not doit... So no favoritism involved.

I understand Whipped, but then why didn't DoIt keep it in the original thread instead of starting a new toxic thread? He started it, so he also should be timed out. It takes two to tango as I said, and both are equally at fault.......but is DoIt a more esteemed member perhaps???

The bottom line guys is that this is Daddy's playpen and if we, participants, don't like the way he operates it we can go play elsewhere. I DO NOT always agree with the way Daddy's operates this fourm BUT I do recognize reality. I have been on the receiving end of Daddy's wrath more than once and I have come to the conclusion that I would rather participate playing by his rules than by absenting myself.

The MC is what it is. I don't necessarily agree with your take on it, but why some posters feel a need to post every time they fart and others feel a need to post how wonderful it smells has always been a mystery to me. I suppose it's not reasonable to expect that every post will be of any interest to the other 99.9% of the MC readers.

I stayed out of all of that but the reality is check the user agreement. If you post libelous or slanderous statements about someone you face removal. We are free to confront anyone. And anyone is allowed to be as rude and obnoxious as they like. Or defend whomever they please. God knows alot of attack was done Here in the past few weeks. As it has been since the board began. But If you make libelous untrue statements you get your ass tossed. Doitb4ugo came to the defense of friends and Never once did any of us make any untrue charges against cade. In fact nothwithstanding his twisting my words and outright lying about me and romann we never did anything but defend against his accusations. We Never made claims against him of any kind.

 

Doitb4ugo romann Whipped pk. Same scenario. They truthfully called him on his lies thats all. Thus management removed cade. Now if anyone has a problem with friends defending others here... well your an idiot. And worse your gonna be all alone when the Ryan cades of the world come after you.

While I have never been on the receiving end of Daddy's wrath (yet, that I know of), I agree that this is his site and thus we play by his rules, end of story. It seems like a lot of people still come back, so I guess not everyone feels like this is a "public service" forum.

I do not really understand this. These guys do post often, and to me they seem very interactive and friendly with others, myself included (excluding the one thing, which had much more than one side). Why are you not posting more and interacting with others (414 post since 2004)? What is stopping you from having a bigger presence here and making this forum also your site? Perhaps you are a busy person, perhaps you do not have time. Could it be that these other guys have more time and interest in this forum, and so they happen to post more often? I would guess that they have more time to post than I do, I do not have a problem with that.

 

Should they be limited to how much they post on this site? I do not think so. Is it wrong that they may discuss joint ventures that they all participated in? What is the harm in that? Maybe you could meet them and become part of their discussion / group?

 

Anyway, I guess I am trying to look at this from the other side. As far as some of the posters in the past who are gone, well some probably just moved on to other things. I have noticed folks like Joe left, but then came back in time (which I was very happy of, good to see you again Joe). Some folks have burned their bridges here (but probably post under other names at times). I have visited this board since 2001 there have been many that come and go and I would guess that is the dynamic of any forum, online or in person.

I've only been here about a week. In that time, I've made a few friends that I already cherish deeply. All of the others involved in this conversation so far I've already come to know and respsect greatly. There is no one who I view as an adversary, no one who I would not like to get to know in a more in-depth manner. I do not know Ryan. But, there are four or five people (I am not naming them again, others have already done it) who jump hard on anything Ryan writes. Maybe he well deserves it. Based on the length of the friendships, that seems like a hasty judgement. My dear alarm -- I know I shouldn't respond but I must. I really appreciate your response, I really do. But my post was directed at ALL combatants, those whom I consider my friends (and yes those friendships are based on similarities in age and social circumstances when I thought I was alone in America) and those who I look forward to becoming friends with. I want everyone to stand down. Yes, I would like to get to know any of these other gentlemen that I don't know yet much better because I can learn from everyone. I am on a journey and look for any knowledge I can, and I can find that knowledge from everyone. And for selfish reasons, I can't learn from everyone when they are all fighting. I realize both sides in the battle were frustrated, for reasons that started long before I arrived, and many feelings were hurt but taking it to this board and dragging down everyone else did nothing but get the rest of us angry. I much prefer to try to play peacemaker and mediator to all sides and that what I was trying to do. That is my very nature. Simply that. You may believe my motives or not but that honestly was the thought process involved in my post.

I am very sorry to see these situations being rehashed again. Very early on I asked all participants to cease and desist and sent private messages to some as well as a couple of postings here. It is "Daddy's Site" and he is free to do as he chooses. For many years I was only a lurker when Hooboy was still in charge and was saddened by his passing, but at the same time, so appreciative of Daddy taking it over. It is a labor of love and he clearly can't be making much money on this venture. I have not "defended" anyone, but have been critical of the lack of civility in many of the posts. All of us here are adults, but some of the posts have been so childish and mean spirited that it reminds me of 5 year olds playing in the sandbox. I really appreciate almost everyone who has posted on this site in all the categories, even when I have significant disagreements, but I do try to be civil and expect others to be the same. I still think the "Golden Rule" applies to adults!

The original suggestion I was given was to give ALL of the participants a timeout. The moderators will be discussing that privately. Given that it's the labor day weekend, I chose the least amount of spanking that I felt would calm the waters. The jury is still out, and after a careful deliberation we may find ourselves with a line of young men in the front office.
