Let me presume that I am asking this question in the correct forum. I will be travelling to Barcelona's BCN from New York, City's JFK later this year or early next. ...wish to fly business class. How's Air Europa's services as a whole? I've had difficulty in trying to locate the answers. Thanks, men!

You might want to take a look at this rating based on actual passengers who flew Air Europa. Out of a possible 5.0 points (5 being the nicest experience), Air Europa got only 1.6. That should steer you to another carrier.

If you are on the East Coast, you might try Air Lingus from IAD. They have reasonable business class fares into Madrid. Once you are in Madrid, you can catch the high-speed train from Madrid to Barcelona and the train ride is less than three hours and the ride is gorgeous if taken during the day in non rainy weather.

Spanair is another good carrier that has reasonable rates. If you book a business class ticket a few months in advance many legacy carriers give substantial discounts but the discounted business fares are not refundable or changable without a heavy penalty.

"Later this year or early next" could be a terrible time to visit Barcelona. It is winter then and it gets cold and rainy. Barcelona is a beautiful city with much history to be seen and enjoyed outdoors. There is a wonderful sauna in Barcelona that is equal to or greater than many Brazilian saunas.

If you travel to Barcelona in winter, you should be prepared to spend a lot of time indoors if the weather is bad unless you get lucky with good weather (unlikely).

By the way, FlyerTalk.com is a great site. However, they have no forum to discuss Air Europa. I suspect that airline has such a bad reputation you will not get much information from that forum (FlyerTalk.com).
