Smorgasbord or Favorite Meal?

Having hired escorts for only about a year, I often find myself in a quandary. Each time I decide to hire an escort, I go through some inner turmoil as to whether or not I should experiment by trying someone I haven't hired before, or staying with what I know I have enjoyed. I'm curious to know if others find themselves with this dilemma, especially those who hire on a regular basis. If this has been hashed out before, I apologize in advance, but I'd appreciate some input at the present time.

First of all, Bucky, it's great to see you back as a regular!

 

I do a little of both. I'll often call a guy I know will be a good time just because I know it'll be a good time. It's comfortable and reliable. There have also been times when a "must see" escort happens to be in town and I can't resist.

 

And once in a great while, I'll see an ad for someone I've never heard of and give it a whirl.

 

A lot of this is going to depend on circumstances and geography. Some guys just don't have a lot of local escorts to choose from, or don't live in a big city where there's a steady stream of traveling escorts.

 

I suspect there will be as many different answers to this question as there are clients.

Well, I can barely stand the chance for a selfish bit of self promotion.....I say try some fresh meat ever so often, just don't give up the regular escort you have....or as the eddie murphy character in shrek said trying to grab attention, while springing up and down...."oh pick me pick me pick me !" just kiddin' sorta.

 

In all seriousness, from time to time, I have recommended to some of my regulars other guys, though it doesn't happen often, I think it's a great way to spice things up for them, and I will especially make that recommendation to guys I think might become regulars and who are new to the world of escorts or gay sex. The other suggestion I make sometimes to my regulars is that they hire someone else along with me, that way they get what is comfortable to them, plus a side dish that knows how to jump start things!

 

 

Good luck in whatever you do in your search! And again, if you have a regular you like, keep seeing him, just throw in an extra bonus ever so often. I

Thanks for the welcome back. It is good to be back in the mix. I'm happy to see old friends still here and new ones cropping up.

 

Guess I hadn't considered the fact that not everyone is so fortunate to live in a major metropolitan area where escorts are more in abundance. Even though I lived for some years only a short distance from NYC, I never hired an NYC escort during that time. Now that I'm living closer to Philly, it seems much easier to do this without the hassles of NY traffic, expense of hotels, and so forth. In recent days, I've been with one exceptional escort, and one that was ok, but I 've had the opportunity to see several in person that have really piqued my interest. That said, I'm still so happy about the exceptional escort that I'll probably be more inclined to stay with him rather than sampling other waters. I say that now, but then I see someone really attractive, and I'm like the kid in the candy store who wants to try it all.

I guess I must be the smorgasbord type. One of the biggest thrills for me is sampling a new guy. I love the excitement of finding them through the various avenues online, trading emails, hearing his voice for the first time on a cellphone, and ultimately the delicious anticipation when I hear the knock on the door and I open it to see him in person. Of course peeling his clothes off and seeing the whole package is pretty damn fun, too.

 

Sometimes I'm disappointed, but if I've done my homework, it's almost always worth it. I DO have 3-4 escorts that I've seen numerous times, but even with the really excellent ones, after the first couple of times I see them, I start to lose a degree of satisfaction. With the few escorts I REALLY like, I've often set up 3-ways with other new guys. It has been extremely fun, because then it's TWO of us who get to feel the anticipation of the unknown. And if the third guy's a dog (which only happened once) I still have a hot as hell escort there to have fun with.

 

BTW, I LOVE eating at new restaurants, for a lot of the same reasons...

That's a REALLY cool thing to do, Gabe, if you know the client's tastes well and you know the guy you're reccommending well. Some of the best experiences I've ever had have come as referrals from escorts I've been with.

 

"Hey, you might like this guy..." is a VERY cool thing to say and betrays a maturity one normally does not expect. It shows you're interested in pleasing your clients.

There's a lot to be said for the comfortable old shoe approach. I have been seeing this one guy for about 5 years, ALMOST exclusivly. It's great not to have to train him each time - he knows exactly which buttons to push and I never have to wonder if I will leave dissapointed.

Bucky: I do both. I usually go on escort hiring "binges" where I will hire 10 boys in 12 days or something. Usually 5 will be newbies that have piqued my interest. 5 will be familiar faces/old friends... whatever you want to call them. There are so many advantages to making new friends and keeping old ones, that it is far better not to decide.

It really depends on what sort of mood I'm in. If I'm determined to have one very specific kind of scene, and I know a good escort who will provide it, I go with the tried and true. On the other hand, if I'm feeling flexible and adventurous, I like to try someone new. It also depends on who is available, of course, and whether I am in a familiar place or traveling. Since I can't afford to hire very often, even a "regular" for me may be only a couple of times a year (there was one guy I saw 8 times in 8 years, whom I considered to be a "regular").
