Lockdown at Jackhammer in Chicago

Hey has anyone ever been to Lockdown at Jackhammer. This is the private party every month with the Chicago Beef strippers. I assume it is 100 nude stripping. I was wondering if any of the guys are also for hire?

Chicago City ordinance bans nude dancing in any venue that serves alcohol.

 

The Chicago (where's the beef strippers) will gladly take your tips but that's where it stops. They will, by policy, not entertain any offers of sex; that is at least while they are on the property where they might be performing. And a good number of them are just downright str8, just there for the cash.

 

Chicago has just always sucked when it comes to strip clubs, and strippers anyway, in my opinion.

Lucky Horseshoe

 

I haven't been in Chicago for about a year, but the Lucky Horseshoe in Boystown had a lot of stripper boys, and some of them were available, but you needed to be very, very discrete, as otherwise the owner could lose his alcohol license. They get down to the briefest of jocks and thongs, but not completely nude because of the Chicago ordinances. The only place where they are nude is at Man's Country, the gay bath house on the North Side. They have shows on Friday and Saturday nights that can be really engaging, exciting and lots of fun. Many of the well known porn stars have appeared there doing a complete strip and mingling with the crowd. It is a private club, but you can get a membership with just a photo ID.

For the unaware...man's Country has become a filthy pit of disgusting magnitude. unkept rooms, rotting carpeting in hallways, thieves who will rob you blind, street hustlers and a lot of drugs.

 

In it's hay day it was beyond hot and the only place to hang out if looking for sex, entertainment and an overall great time.

 

But like most things Chuck Renslow owns, it has fallen into a horrid memory of what it once was. But yes, the dancers do get nakeid.

They do get naked at lockdown, they can do this because the bar is not open, hence the name lockdown.

While Mans Country can at times use a bunch of maintenance it does have it's ups and downs, I think it has gotten much much better than it was at it's low point a while back. The strip shows are highly variable from excellent to boring.

 

Also some of the Mans Country's new fantasy rooms are worth checking out.

 

Lucky Horse shoe and a few other venues has private parties where the bar is closed and dancers get naked.

 

Once or twice a month or so the Bijou has dancers, but that place (which claims to be the oldest continuously operating sex club in the US) has been open since I think 1970 which may have been the last time it saw serious maintenance.

In 1975 I purchased a lifetime membership in Man's Country. It cost me one dollar. I would hate to think that the club is going downhill since I do have that investment in it.

In 1975 it was a virtual Sodom and Gomorrah. I was truly shocked the first time I went there.

I was actually at the grand opening of Man's country. It was a spectacular place at that time. Clean, cruisy, comfortable and full of hot guys having hot sex. You could easily loose track of time as there were no clocks anywhere except for in the snack bar.

 

As lucky states, it was a very sexual place. It took me awhile to get used to it. I often went there just for the entertainment and air conditioning, as at that time I could not afford the luxury of an air conditioner in my apartment. And it was comfortable too. The music hall had enormous pillows all around it and you could sleep there, even though you would wake up to the occasional unwanted grope from time to time.

 

There was also excellent entertainment there as well on weekends.

 

But times have changed. The last time I was there in 1985 I was robbed in my room. That often occurs there. The place is a dump and there's probably reasons for that too. Steamworks is what man's country once was, just on a smaller scale.

 

Here are a few reviews of the place from 2008 and nothing has gotten any better from when these were written.
