SJP is wearing vintage (that means old) Valentino. I thought she looked like she had the grill of a '58 Buick on her chest.

And not even delectable cinnabons at that. The dress is awful. Other horrible choices were Molly Ringwald's and Tina Fey's. J Lo was fabulous, as was Bullock.

OK, another commentator now says SJP was wearing Chanel. It still looks like the grill of a '58 Buick.

 

I was around when the '58 Buick was. My uncle had one. The grill looked nothing like that dress! (For the information of the younger readers, the '58 GM cars had more chrome everywhere than any other year of production.) My aunt had the Oldsmobile stationwagon that year, it was even worse! You couldn't find the gas cap hidden behind the chrome in the tailfin.

Question: Is anyone else a little confused by, to be diplomatic, strangely dressed gay men criticisizing the way attractive women are dressed on the red carpet??? I watched Jay Manuel (??) on E! and just don't get it---his comments seem bizarre; Cojo, whatever his last name is another--- tough for me to take seriously the way he dresses and his hair style---or maybe I'm not suppose to take these fashionistas seriously??

As a gay man I enjoy looking at well-dressed women and men but don't enjoy other gay men bashing them. Is it just for ratings and the "Gotcha" factor??
