Several times, I have witnessed some escorts have a lot of expensive designer clothes when they did an overnight with me. I tend to dress well(IMHO) but buy moderately priced clothes. Vogue's Anna Wintour's personal schedule changing the whole fashion week schedule in Milan is just so silly to me, don't you think?

Sorry she's a no body. I don't care if she is the editor in chief of the bible. She isn't all that more important then anybody else. And as for people who must wear the fancy labels, wear the makeup, name drop and what not I often wonder how low their self esteem is and what they are trying to hide.

Anna Winntour, like Wal*Mart, has power because vendors allow her to have it. If they stopped kow-towing, her power would be gone. Sadly, they don't have the balls to do so.

That's the prisoner's dilemma, isn't it? If one or two or five designers stood up to her, she could crush them like insects under her Blahnik or Jimmy Choo or Christian Laboutin high heels. The entire fashion industry would have to stand up to her for her power to diminish. Do you think that could ever happen?

Love her or hate her, she has ruled the fashion world for a long time.

 

She has created empires. The fashion world should be (and for the most part is) very thankful.

I wasn't advocating rising up against her, nycman (like you, I really couldn't give a shit). I was only saying that she is more powerful than anyone else (or any ten others) in the fashion industry, There are plenty of catfights in the industry, but one designer or industry figure taking on Anna Wintour is a suicide mission. While there are other queen bees in fashion, she's the biggest and strongest by far.
