I watched much of the Grammys, adding to the overwhleming evidence that I really need to put my time to better use, but I digress.

Anyhow, Mary J Blige and Andrea Botticelli did a duet of Bridge of Trouble Waters which is being sold on iTunes to help relief aid in Haiti. Even if the cause were not such a good one, the duet was very moving, so I would have you take a listen. I am sure it will be on YouTube soon, but it is not yet there. These two also did a Christmas song on an album that Oprah was putting together for charity at Christmastime and that was also a great duet.

Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks on the other hand were just odd.

So true about the Swift/Nicks duet -- Taylor had some real problems with the high stuff-- she tried -- but as a musician - I was "'ouch" -- but that is LIVE music!

Gotta love Stevie though...

I thought about it today and Taylor Swift is all burgers and ice cream sodas and Stevie Nicks is all old scotch and cigarettes. One has to wonder what the producers were thinking. Perhaps they were going for some bizarre before and after comparison.
