First we have Luke and Noah from AS THE WORLD TURN. Now we have Kyle and Oliver (Fish) from ONE LIFE TO LIVE. The scene below was shown yesterday, when Kyle and Fish finally slept together.

Happy New Year to all.

You've Come a Long Way Baby!

I saw the episode live as I was home on vacation that day. I thought the scene was hot as well as sensitive and the two guys playing the characters are handsome and hot. Does anybody know if they are gay in real life? Their tenderness looked real. I just wonder if a straight guy could be that convincing. If so, he deserves and Emmy!

Yep, he's gay....

Probably won't surprise of you out there, but I have watched OLTL since the very first episode... in the summers and that show is why I bought my very first $800 VCR...

Anyway, the actor (Scott Evans) that plays Fish is openly gay and is the little brother of movie actor Chris Evans..... not sure about Kyle.

I know someone who worked with him. Brett Claywell who plays Kyle is straight but he is very gay friendly. He has gone to the GLAAD awards and other events. Even though the role did not start off as gay, he went with the punches and has given some great performances.

Well, gay actors have done lots of convincing love scenes with women since films began. So, I don't think it's a stretch for a straight actor to be able to make love to a man. It's just acting. :p

Nice PC thought Rick, but I have to respectfully disagree. Every gay man until he comes out (if he comes out) to a greater or lesser extent, passes as straight. For some it's necessary for their well-being if not security or safety. Some of us, even those of use who aren't actors, become very good at it. I can think of no corresponding situation in which a straight male has to act as gay for their well-being or safety. A gay male in a straight role should be able to draw upon their pre-out experience. A straight actor in a gay role is unlikely to have that experience to draw on. Would that you were correct however . . . .
