Keeping my straight buddy entertained

Here's the deal. I am visiting NYC next month travelling with a really good but straight friend. I know how to entertain myself in the city but does anyone have recommendations for my friend? I feel bad leaving him alone at the hotel at night while I am out having a good time.

 

I'm sure there are countless strip clubs and places to hook up with a female prostitute. Any suggestions?

Is is all about prostitutes? My straight friends and I go to all kinds of clubs together. NYC is not so segregated. But it is not about pros and hos. blu

I agree. Any club in NY that is considered a fun place to go always has a mixture of gays and straights, all happily merging together. Surprisingly, at least to tourists expecting "sin city", NY has only a few strip clubs, mostly around the Times Square area. Hookers also, I guess. I think if you want to have a good time you should go out together. Go to straight places, gay places and mixed places. I had a male straight friend I used to go out with. We used to try to split up couples. Never really worked, but it was lots of fun trying. Really brought us closer.

The question we need answered before we can suggest anything is:

Does your straight buddy know you are gay - and if so, how comfortable is he with gays?

Yes, he knows I'm gay. He knows I hope to get "laid" in NYC. I don't think he knows about the escort stuff.

 

For a straight guy he is pretty gay-friendly. He has better gaydar than I do sometimes. But going to the Gaiety or a good gay bar would not be something that would interest him.

 

I'm sure we will go out and hit the town at least one night we are in the city but I can't bring him along of some on my planned activites.

 

My initial impression was that since NYC had so many great male escorts that there had to be even more great women for hire. Am I wrong?

 

Of course this assumes he will even go for something like this but I want him to have the option if he wants. Or at least the name of a good strip club.
