AS we all know, Music can be a strong aphrodisiac and a powerful companion to any romantic/sexual encounter. I know a great many of us from the posts and reviews put a lot of time and effort into making our encounters, and staging them just right. Given this, I certainly would like some input in creating the perfect list of music for just such an encounter. Obviously music is different for every person and situation but I’d like to see if we couldn’t break it down into a few categories and see what an eclectic list we might create. Such as

Seduction: Foreplay: Main Act: Afterglow: & Specialty:

I think these categories are self explanatory with the exception of the catch all Specialty for those that perhaps have particular tastes they would like to hear represented. Please don’t limit yourself, classical to jazz, pop to broadway, new age to rap, all genres and styles are wanted. Let me be the first to add a few to what I hope will be a growing list: I really would like your suggestions, I know I’m missing thousands of perfect songs for the occasion, I just give the attached start as an example. Id love to hear your favorite get in, & enjoy the mood music. Escorts please chime in, what works best for you is always important to us.

Lanky Soundtracks are a great idea. are there any particular tracks from these that really work for you.

Interesting to think about this. I usually just start one from the beginning. If the score follows a narrative, the music often begins quietly, then builds, often reaching a crescendo when I do.

"The Battle of Bannockburn," from "Braveheart" is -- surprise! -- intense, and comes about 20 minutes or so into the scene.......uh, I mean, the soundtrack.

I'd say "3:10 to Yuma" and "The Illusionist" are best for a scene with some kink. "Illusionist," however, runs under an hour; I downloaded it from iTunes and then created a playlist that repeats some of the better -- hotter -- tracks, thus filling out the hour. Or so.

i have noticed that some escorts, when i have done outcalls to their place, play very nice music and it lasts exactly one hour. And so do I.

Now thats what I mean. timing is everything. can you recall in particular any of the pieces.

Lanky I like the Braveheart idea. I'll have to download illusionist, don't know that one. Thanks for the tip, although I think me and kink might not be synonymous but hey one can dream. LOL

Your right greatness we have to add Josh Groban to the list definately i'll edit.

I'll have to go through the lists and familiarize myself with some of the musical selections.

I've generally played my whole list...which ranges from Sarah Brightman's Deliver Me...to the Kink's Lola...and even Woody Guthrie's I Ain't Got No Home In This World Anymore. So, I think I have a mix of every type of music from every decade of the 20th century.

My most recent additions (in CD format) were from Diana Krall and 2 compilations from Billy Holiday.

Now that DC's got a blizzard, I can get around to this. Great question, Tomcat. This is old school, but that why they call it classic.

Seduction:

Dylan: Lay lady lay

Almond Brothers: In Memory of Elizabeth Reed

Foreplay and into the main act:

Pink Floyd: Meddle (there's a lot of mileage in this one)

Main Act:

Mahavishnu Orchestra: Birds of Fire

Afterglow:

Mahavishnu Orchestra: Lotus Rush on Irish Springs

Greatful Dead: Weather Report Suite

Sarah McLachlan: Angel

The only thing better for seduction is

"I put a spell on you" - Nina Simone or maybe even Joe Cocker
