Alan Sherman brought me back to my childhood and playing that on the record player. It also brought to mind a short film I saw in childhood in which the traditional 12 days of Christmas was sung while the singer had brought into his home each of the items in the song. By then end, there were dozens of Lords a Leaping and Cows and Milk Maids all over the place. As an 8 year old or so, this appealed to my sense of the absurd and I remember laughing uncontrollably while the song was being sung. The memory still brings a smile to my face.

I would love to see that! Perhaps some of the sleuths here could find it somewhere in cyberland. Several years back I taped a collection of excerpts of an untold number of versions of "12 Days", and vividly remember Miss Piggy and her "Five Gooolllddd Rings"!
