I was thinking about Daddy's "Who Rocked Your World in 2009" thread and my mind kept going back more than this past year to guys I wished were still around, to guys who were so memorable they came to the forefront of my mind. I hadn't been hiring as many in the past year I don't think. But from 2000 to 2009, the first 10 years of the aughts, who stood out as your dream hire(s)? Since 2009 is almost over, it seemed appropriate to think back on the past decade.

In my mind there are three I can think of right away:

Olivier from Maximum

Eric (who is making a comeback of sorts)

Farmboy Erik

I am glad you said the first ten years of the aughts rather then the first ten years of this century. :) When I was growing up, I listened to people older than my grandparents saying things about back in 05 or the like and thought it quaint at the very least. Now, the aughts in this century are about over. Wow.

Best regards,

KMEM

After spending alot of time with "Farmboy" before he became just plain "ERIK" for a time before he sadly FOR ME Moved from Brooklyn and Retired.. I would definitely say ERIK was the best Blond/Blue Cute Big Dicked  Guy I ever GLADLY Bent over for on a long time continuing Basis!

"Thank The Gods" for our Home Movies though, They do bring a tear to my eyes! I do have the distinction of being the ONLY GUY to have him LIVE on Film, EVEN though he was approached many times about doing Porno!

OLIVIER/Maximum...IN THE LOOKS Dept he was the Handsomest EURO Working Guy I spent time with in NYC hands down! :D

Best of the decade!

Of course I am going to sound like a broken record here because I have expressed this so many times... but the supreme master of them all was...

Reece Rothmeier. Oh so talented, so charismatic, so flipping hot, so strikingly handsome... and such a beautiful individual on the inside as well.

Would that I could have just one more session with this now retired extremely gifted hunk of masculinity!

…and I know that there are others around here who feel exactly the same way as I!

Jim Slade

I was living in Dallas, Texas when my wife and I divorced and I "came out" of the closet. The first guy I hired for companionship was escort & pornstar-bottom Jim Slade. He became a good friend to me, as well as my regular F*Buddy. I learned a great deal about gay life and great sex from Jim. He gets my vote for "Escort of the Decade."

Not only was Jim handsome as hell, but he had the most perfect, muscular butt that I had ever seen. He was extremely kind and noble in both mind and heart--An all-around first-class guy. I'm thankful to have met Jim a couple years before he moved to California and ultimately "retired" from the profession.

Jim Slade...

I met Jim Slade in the spring of 2003. I think it was the Saturday of Easter weekend. It was a fantastic night and morning. We really, really clicked.... He was everything that I was looking for in an escort at the time. Movie star handsome in the face, perfect teeth, sculpted body, tight waist and truly a beautiful muscle butt.... and the way he liked to cum was by getting rimmed... to good to be true???.... the guy almost broke my jaw... seriously, I remember coming home and having my face be so damned sore.... that's because he also never got enough.... he made me do it even when I didn't really want to... I can still hear him... And he was a hot top, too. And nasty, nasty, nasty.... nasty.

Nasty.

You know, it took me forever to decide to hire him.. because he was an exclusive bottom in porn (ok, except once, when the other guy couldn't get hard and he was ready to get the scene over with) and I was looking for the mythical "dominant tops"...(You remember that NYC crowd.. Cole Davis, Rex Brant, Cole Ramsey... and the one that I managed to cancel on... my biggest regret to this day..(well that and Aiden Shaw)...Reece Rothmeir...great decision on my part)... but then, I saw this new pic of him, like in boots doing squats and his butt was just so perfect and in that pic, you really could see how truly handsome he was in the face... so I took a chance and when he found out that rimming was my real deal, he said "You better be careful. I"m going to wear you out." And he did. And Jim Slade was, without a doubt, the most masculine man that I have ever met. Ever.

He is only one of three guys out of the cast of thousands (the other being Ty and David and would have been Andrew Justice) that I had for two nights. He used to fly in on Saturdays and go home on Monday. And it was non stop sex... I also recall that he took forever to cum... which might also explain the sore jaw...

He was one of my first film experiences, too and that tape is still pretty hot. Yes, I said tape..

I probably saw him six times ... once that spring and very intensely in the fall before he retired. I really cared about the guy and was very sad to have him leave my life. I was very new at this stuff.. so to tell the truth, I probably loved the guy. Not a mistake I would ever make again... but he was very complicated and more than a little conflicted. The man had his demons and they sometimes got the best of him... I knew him during his very bitter break up with Chris Steele and so, I saw a side of him that was not all that kind and noble. He could be one mean son of a gun when provoked.... He loved intensely and he hated that same way... Jim Slade didn't do anything half way....I guess, let's just say, he lived his life with a very intense, VERY INTENSE passion and whatever he felt, he felt 110%... and God help those who felt differently.

Escort of the decade??? Not sure. His career was pretty brief....But certainly, in my top 5 of all time.

Of all the guys I have had the pleasure of meeting, I would most like to know what happened to him. It is my sincere hope that he learned to direct that passion, to live with it's white hot intensity and that he is alive and well and happy (and giving some lucky guy a sore jaw at this very minute) in sunny California.

Wish it was me.

Okie
