What happened to xtube.com? I went to check it out today and suddenly there's a whole new site. None of the free self-posted videos were there, just some advertisements for various straight relationship seekers...Anyone know what is going on?

interesting...just saw the same thing. Wikipedia lists its status a "redirecting to another site" as of 11/23/2009.

Maybe it has been hijacked? Or maybe they had to pull the plug? In any event I also get the redirected splash page.

Strange. Maybe you have a old cache version in your browser? I just checked again and its gone for the time being.

I was on the site this morning and now I get the "new" splash page

I'm not getting any redirect but the site has a lot of red "x" images. During one point yesterday the site indicated the database was busy and to try back later. Its possible they are in the middle of a software or server upgrade and that's causing issues.

I just checked it out and had no problems. The site is there, the vids are playing.

Website Error

 

Last night our DNS provider screwed up meaning no one could access the site last night between 10pm and 2:30am EST. The error is corrected and don’t worry, XTube is not going anywhere. As of this blog, there are still some connection errors so somethings wont work correctly until all the server errors are cleared, believe me we are just as frustrated as you are about this. We are working on it as I write this and we should have it all sorted out and back to normal shortly.
