my favorite western canadian, matt of vancouver, posted a similar message regarding a visit to los angeles without complaint, so i'll assume it is fine to do this. of course, i have been specifically & categorically told in no uncertain terms that different rules apply to me than apply to other posters here, so we shall see.

anyway, since my fellowship in jerusalem was cancelled because the terrorists--OOPS! i mean palestinians--can't stop blowing people up & the sponsor is worried about getting sued if a bright & cheerful american such as myself gets killed, my plans for the summer have been shot.

 

i'm probably going to SF at some point and i've had an inquiry about boston. where else should i go? i'm particularly interested in hearing from clients, since i'll be making "business" trips.

Working Vacations

 

Hell is probably a bit too stiffling at this time of year.

 

However, given your taste in men, Miami and South Florida would both be excellent possibilities. In addition, San Diego and Los Angeles as well should be good targets, but you would need to be very mobile and do more marketing. Portland is a great city, very compact, easy to get around with a car, inexpensive and small. However, I am not certain the market there is strong enough to support much escort activity. I may be recalling incorrectly, but if you know Montreal, it again is a city with excellent public transit and which is small and compact and can be reasonably inexpensive. Chicago has a great museum and other excellent points of tourism but Los Angeles also has the RWR presidential libriary in Simi Valley as well as the RMN birthplace.

Kidding aside, Phoenix/Scottsdale AZ isn't such a bad idea for an escort looking for business in the summer. We have lots of fancy resorts designed to lure winter visitors at inflated prices, but during the summer they lower rates to a small fraction of that and aggressively market to convention business, which generally fill them all summer long. One of my (accountant) national organizations even has a week long convention here the last week of August. And accommodations are reasonably priced and plentiful, there's lots to do (tubing on Salt River, major league baseball in an air conditioned stadium with a swimming pool, gambling on nearby Indian reservations, over 25 gay bars and restaurants, daytrips to Mexico, Tucson, cooler towns in N. AZ, Grand Canyon, etc.)

Any local will tell you that the Phoenix escort scene is kind of stale, and any new face is sure to get more than their share of business.

No reason why it shouldn't be ok for you too. THe raison d'etre for this board (one of them anyway) is to faciliatate communication between escorts and clients -- and seeking info on client interest is especially worthwhile IMO.

 

As for Boston... great time of year to visit if there is sufficient interest to make it worthwhile for you.

 

Rio is a great idea too and for an off-the-wall suggestion... South Africa. I've seen some very hot SA guys on the net. No expert on the scene but if I were on a round-the-world tour it would be a definite have to see stop.

Would be happy to oblige if I could. However, I never kept anything. :-( I find my comp. monitor stays cleaner if I have less to drool over. I stumble across these sites/notices only on occasion and by chance, I check it out and move on. Never anticipated travel to SA myself... unitl now, that is. BUt it'll have to wait -- still to much to see and do closer to home.

funny that you should mention RSA, TY. when i was at whistler earlier in the year, a frighteningly HOT and amazingly friendly south african took snowboarding lessons with me. i was thoroughly smitten. the funniest thing was this guy was about 6'1" or 6'2" & outweighed me by at least 50 lbs. when we got off the lift for the first time, HE was hanging on ME so he wouldn't fall. our instructor, a female from NZ, just LAUGHED & LAUGHED.

Hell is located on the island of Grand Cayman, which does have a post office so you can buy a postcard stamped Hell just to prove you've been there! LOL

BTW it's a very CLEAN island unlike many in the caribbean.

If you're thinking of going abroad, I'd suggest places where your dollar will go farther. Right now Argentina, Brazil and South Africa are very cheap for visitors with dollars. If you're actually thinking of those, you can do a "triangle" trip and hit all three without paying much more than just going to one country. Call South African Airlines for information. (You can also rack up tons of miles!)

 

Other affordable spots include Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela (where the currency has crashed along with the tourist trade, but the hunk quotient remains amazingly high).

 

In Europe, Spain and Portugal are surprisingly affordable and full of delectable men. So are parts of Eastern Europe, including Russia. Canada is also a good deal for Americans, as the rate of exchange has been very favorable lately. This may also be true of Australia and NZ, but I've never been there so I don't know what prices are like. However, I suspect they're cheap by American standards. For someplace completely different, there's Thailand, which also is cheap for Americans, utterly foreign, and not a hotbed of Islamic terrorists! Although if you don't mind risking it (and you don't have Israeli stamps in your passport) you can probably get a very good deal on a cruise up the Nile while indulging your Cleopatra fantasies. The men in Egypt are dark, but they're cut, of course. . .
