The kid isn't "courageous"! He's fucking TEN YEARS OLD! He's done what he's done because of his parents. At ten years old you should be out playing and being a kid and not getting involved in an issue you can't even remotely understand or discuss intelligently.

 

I feel sorry for the kid and his parents should be ashamed of themselves or manipulating him for their own political agenda. Let the kid be a kid while he's a kid and leave the adult topics for when he's an adult.

 

If the kid had come out AGAINST gay marriage he wouldn't be lauded, now would he?

 

What the parents have done steps right up to the child abuse line. I have nothing but contempt for them.

You have nothing but contempt for everyone except self loathing homosexuals. If this kid had come out the OTHER way, you'd be defending him like you did Carrie Prejean because he would be furthering one of your precious GOP talking points.

 

At the age of 10, I worked for the Ford campaign in Florida because even back then I was politically aware. My parents were SURPRISED that I was doing it. My step mother tried to stop me but my dad encouraged it. I learned a lot about politics. I worked for the Reagan campaign 4 years later, Mondale 4 years after that, Dukakis 4 years later, Clinton for both campaigns, then Gore, the Kerry, then Hillary.

 

Just because YOU were playing with Barbies and drooling and still wearing diapers at 10 doesn't mean all 10 year olds share your affliction or have the limited mental capacity that you do.
