Its been about 9 years since I was last in Athens Greece. I was wondering if by chance anybody knew how the old Street Scene was in the Ononia District and the Porn Theaters of the area.

Before it used to be a haven for local Rent Boys and immigrants from the region! I realize all good things come to an end, but their must be some kind of a scene there still. It (or used to be) very much part of the culture and doesn't/didn't have the stigma it has in other countries as long as sex/money is traded in a very discreet fashion. Those straight/bi Greek guys do keep up appearances, but in private..... :p I hope joining the EU hasn't ruined old customs!

Anybody know how Athens is these days? I might have the opportunity to go in a week.

Thanks!

JEEEZ! :( It seems like the only place people on this site travel to is Rio de Janeiro and Montreal!! Sad, its a big world out there with lots of hot men too all over the globe!

Oh well.....

Lots of people travel to lots of other places. Those people just don't know about this site otherwise they would probably write something.

For what it's worth, I know someone who picked up a guy cruising around the Acropolis, took him back to the hotel and was robbed.

Wow! Your information is worth a lot. It should serve as a warning not to pick up guys in the Acropolis area and take them to your hotel.

I'm having difficulty in deciding if this is a sarcastic reply or not.

The OP said, "for what it's worth" --

I think his information is worth a lot. It is a good wake up call to anyone thinking of picking up a guy in that cruisy area.

I am, indeed, puzzled how you could interpret my response as sarcastic.
