Just my 2 cents....

I like to think of the forums as a the backroom VIP section of this site.

I know Daddy thinks of it more as the place where the rich old farts

hang out all day puffing cigars and not paying the rent...but I digress.

The forums to me are a kind of "boys club" where we meet, get to know

each other and express ourselves. Like all clubs, there are wierdos, freaks,

and people I just plain don't like. Nonetheless, you do get to "know" the

personalities here.

To me that's the HUGE advantage "mini-reviews" here have over the main

review section. I know that if TJ Brooklyn, KYTop or the much missed

Traveller (RIP) gives a simple "he's worth it", then that guy is right up my

alley.

Having said that, I agree that real reviews belong in the review section.

All the details about how he chewed through the down feather pillows at

the Four Seasons while screaming "fuck me harder papi" are fun to read

and informative, but please give Daddy his due, and put it in a formal review.

I always respond to 411 requests here if I know the guy. I feel it's my duty

to "the club". But, I keep it ultra-short. "He was hot and worth it" or "stay

away he's a rip-off artist". So far I've managed to sail under Daddy's radar,

or at the very least he kindly turns a blind eye to my indiscretions.

When in doubt, if it's more than 3 sentences....you're writing a real review

and it belongs in the review section, not in the forums.

Kevin makes an EXCELLENT point – I couldn’t agree more. I also look carefully for reviews written by guys in my age group – 69 yesterday. It is important to me that the escorts I hire plays well with older clients.

If we follow the above and allow a short statement, not a full review, indicating a rip-off alert, would that be considered acceptable? Then anyone wanting details could go off line and exchange private messages. Ultimately wouldn't that serve the purpose for those that might be at some risk because they were considering hiring that escort? Granted, it could get out of hand so not a perfect solution and the poster might have to handle quite a few messages. Just trying to come up with some alternatives for those situations where rip-offs do happen and for whatever reason a formal review would be after the fact for an immediate problem (i.e. a visiting escort to a city).

Jeepers.....

Write a review....state what you want, let the escort reply if they choose, and then make a decision. It all comes out in the wash....we have a good system here now, no need to change it. If you still have concerns about the information you're reading contact the reviewer or escort in private.

I am beginning to wonder if there not a fine line between "alerting" people of rip offs or just retaliating against an escort because one is not happy with the service they have recieved.

...or because the escort snubbed the poster at the gym, or on manhunt, or just looks like an asshole... That's why I like that reviews are vetted.

Add "heat of the moment" and the issue is summed up nicely.
