1) When is the caller considered a time waster when making initial contact? (e.g., 1, 2, or 3rd or more phone calls/e-mails) What is said or not said to make it fall in this category?

2) Does "serious only" mean you must arrange something right then and there?

3) Are escorts who have an attitude at the end of the FIRST call because nothing was arranged new to this and are potentially throwing away a good client who they think is a flake, but is just considering and listening for non-verbal cues that it will make it a good match?

4) Do escorts get that many phone calls that they must have an attitude so quickly?

5) On average, how many contacts (e.g., 2 calls), what is the length of the contact (5 min. call), and how far in the future (same day, 1-2 weeks) does the average client take to set-up a meeting?

6) How many calls do you receive that go nowhere vs. an actual meeting (1 in 20)?

7) How long is the average phone call and what time of the day?

for me a time waster is someone that emails me more than 3 times and still hasn't booked a massage. or gets on the phone and gets side tracked into other areas of conversation that has nothing too do with massage.

my idea of a correct call goes something like this.

Me: "Hello"

PC: "Hi, My name is Scott & I saw your ad on massage m4m" "I'd like to book an appointment."

Me: "Hi Scott, thanks for calling, did you visit my website as well?"

PC: "Yeah I did, I like your pictures as well as the info on what you offer"

Me: "Thanks, so when were you thinking you might want to get together?"

PC: "Well, I'd like to see you right now but I know that it might me kinda short notice." So what times do you have available?

Me: Well Scott your in luck I do have 11am appointment how does this sound?

PC sounds great Joe just give me your addy I'll shower and be right over.

Now for me I produce a very detail ad and website where 90% of the questions I get are either in the ad or the website If the client takes the time to read the website the phone contact and normally be brief as in the example given

Joe, Have you been watching those 1950's health films again. I think I saw this very scenario in a black and white educational film in the third grade. Of course you were a teenage girl and he was a teenage boy asking for a date. But the conversation was almost identical.

I guess take away message is: Review the available material. Be prepared. Have a plan. Be flexible. Be clean for the appointment.

Ok, I'm not usually so cynical. And forgive me if I'm wrong. But MMM has 3 posts, each loaded with questions. If you're new and wanting to learn, ok, I get that. But I'm not sure the questions sound like someone wanting to learn. I swear it sounds like you're interviewing for a research paper.

i'm with kevininsa. i first read mmm123's seven questions at the top of this thread and immediately felt like the questions were just WAY too many - something didn't seem right with the way it was written. kevininsa's theory is further substantiated by the fact that mmm123's questions were all posted on the same day. mmm is either a Very Curious Individual with an Enquiring Mind, or - well, or writing a research paper. mmm, here's your chance to come clean - or at least explain your motives. if you ARE doing research, it might be appropriate to state such at the beginning of your posts.
