'Glee,' from the creators of Nip/Tuck, on Fox... Have you seen it yet?

 

The last episode was good and it's nice to see a show on TV that's 'feel-good,' with just enough camp factor to keep it really watchable. With HBO's True Blood having just ended for the season, Glee gives me something to TiVo for the next 20 episodes.

 

Can a weekly musical-based sitcom survive? We'll see.

I couldn't agree more. It was hysterical last night. I loved both scenes with the gay teenager and his father at the beginning of the show and at the end.

 

I also loved "Modern Family" on ABC. There are gay characters on that show that just adopted a baby from Vietnam. It was really funny.

Glee got picked up for the "back nine" in TV parlance meaning it will have a full season of 22 episodes. It's the first of the new shows to get picked up and Fox did so after only three episodes which is very unusual. The demographics held up very well.

 

I love this program and last night's episode was amazingly clever. The scene with the gay son coming out to his construction foreman dad was poignant and very funny.

 

Have not seen Modern Family yet but the reviews have been very favorable from what I've read. But since its opposite Glee I've dot a dilemma deciding which to DVR.

This is the cheesiest and predictable show I've seen in a long time ... and I love it! I'm glad to see storylines like this past weeks on a network. It will make a difference to someone out there.

I'm loving it too! When Matt Morrison was originally starring in Hairspray on Broadway I was told he was John Wayne's grandson. There is an odd resemblance. But how soon will there be a Broadway bound musical version of Glee (with or w/out Mr. Morrison)?

I too am a big fan. I laughed my ass off when I saw the last episode. It was really good.

I do seem to remember a young girl claiming to have gotten pregnant because she was in a swimming pool with a guy who jerked off. She claimed she was still a virgin. Perhaps the writers saw this same internet article as a source for this. It seems to me that sperm are too fragile to survive a visit outside a human body and then still have enough vigor to get to the egg.

Glee is hot, clever and funny. The music is great. The young girl star has a fantastic voice. The lead male teacher is cute and sexy. My favorite is the bad boy student with the mohawk, nipple ring and smoke'n body. He needs to be on one of the young male porn sites - Oh Well - I can fantasize can't I? I don't think I'll miss an episode and of course record everything to make sure I can watch the juicy parts over and over again.
